Change settings manually: subscribe to mod, and navigate to \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\881100\200691442\data\entities\items\pickup\
go into EACH file, and find lines reading

<LifetimeComponent
lifetime="3600" >
</LifetimeComponent>

and change the lifetime (number in quotes) to whatever you want. lifetime is in frames, with 60 frames per second. The default is lifetime=900 for 15 seconds. This mod gives lifetime=3600 for 60 seconds.

Please add settings in game.The default time feels short

Yeah, being able to change the lifetime in the game would be a nice quality of life upgrade. Thx for the mod anyway tho.

I recommend adding a section in "mod settings' Where we can tweak the time, rather than using a text editor.

I have found a bug. This mod is not compatible with picking up the Gold is Forever perk. Gold will not stay forever after picking up the park, and instead will still disappear after the extended time hardcoded by this mod. Can you fix this?

Great mod. I love this.

this needs to perk set... lasts 9 sec, 20 sec, 40, and permanent.. each it's own perk, would be nice to do simple 4 perks.

@Francis, @PlayerTwO
Thank you for your comments.
When I implemented it, I roughly measured the time, so it was incorrect...:steamsad:
I fixed the image of the mod, though it is messy.

Can I adjust the timer myself in a file somewhere?
bpais008 2 Jul, 2020 @ 10:35am
Was looking for a mod that had longer, but not infinite, gold despawn timers. Thanks!

@leviathan092 https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2126030382&searchtext=gold

Also this isnt 90 seconds its roughly about 145 despawn

For balancing issues, I think it should be set to 25-30 seconds. That's enough time to collect gold after any big fights without having to dive into either more enemies or hazardous liquids. Also, with a timer as a long as 90 seconds, with enemies constantly battling each other in the environments (more with hatred perk), you can stumble upon piles of gold giving you enough to buy everything in the shop even with the bigger shop mod.

@The Meanie There actually is a mod for that, but it's not in the steam workshop:
https://modworkshop.net/mod/25760
Though I haven't installed it myself and don't know if it works
The Meanie 13 Mar, 2020 @ 3:15pm
This is an excellent quality-of-life mod, I really hated the need to dive on enemies corpses because gold would for some reason disappear nearly immediately.

I don't suppose there's any possibility of making gold not disappear at all?

that is so cool,good job!!!!!!:steamhappy:

Thanks a lot for the mod!

I have lost many gold nuggets to the flames I set across the worlds. This will definitely be helpful lol
PhotonReady 25 Feb, 2020 @ 10:15am
This is exactly what I was hoping to see when I saw the Steamworks went up. So annoying to have to sprint over to the gold because it vanished after 5 seconds. Thanks!
Derpy_Penguin 25 Feb, 2020 @ 9:51am
YES FINALLY
i am so tired of missing gold because i'm still fighting ten enemies thank you
FieryQaz 25 Feb, 2020 @ 5:27am
