aha.
the editor is now showing the currant published version of this map.
yesterday was glitchy day :)
as with the turrets shoting me through a portal, on your map.
my portal 2 is syncronized in the steam cloud.
so if a lot of people were using steam yesterday.
or they had some other problems.
errors could have crept in.
looks like their sink came from their old backup files , by mistake.
isn't techknowledgy great :)

to clarify:
laser should not work, even after pedestal button is pressed.
unless all 4 cubes are on their buttons.
the reflector does not need to be used to activate the laser.
as it has another job.
no need to take any of the 4 or cubes off their buttons, when the laser is activated.
removal of just 1 cube from it's button, should turn the laser off.
glad you liked the faithplate.
their was also a glitch yesterday, on your turret resurection map.
I will post it there.

I quicksaved while 3 cubes on the black isle under the exit, so that's probably why (no 4 cubes on the buttons). I'll retry

thankyou for re-testing & feedback.
2 strange things here:
1st I opened the editor to test this.
but it opened an old version of this map.
with no message about it not being the current version ?
so I re-subscribed to the published version & tested this.
after activating laser, I quicksaved & killed myself.
the laser stayed on.
so I directed the laser into the laser catcher.
went to the exit & quicksaved again.
then killed myself.
the laser still went into the laser catcher & the exit door was still open ?
perhaps steam is busy with many users & a glitch occured,
when dowloading the map, to your pc ?
so after pressing the pedestal button abover the exit:
with all cubes on the 4 buttons, the laser stays on.
(in my testing after quicksave, then death)

Re-tested: now I have to use every cube! Very good update! The only problem I found, and it's probably Steam's fault, is that if I die after the last pedestal, when I reload, the laser is off!

added glass, to stop sideways jump, from exit area.
laser now connected to pedestal button, as before.
but also connected to the 4 cube spawn buttons.
I removed glass & 2 funels below entrance.
as you could use funels to get onto portable light bridge.
& it made it harder, in a non constructive way.
I did an update where I had fizzlers either side of the portable light bridge & button area.
& removed floor grating & put one there.
I put light bridges there also & lowered the floor.
so you could walk on the light bridges at floor hieght.
but you were also walking in the fizzler, at the same hieght.
so I thought cube stacking here would not work.
but I put a cube on the needed portable floor flip panel, that the light bridge goes down to.
then got to light bridge.
so abandoned that idea as well.
added light bridge & grating, to stop unintended funeling.
grating also makes the funeling easier for the player.

I just updated this map.
now you have to go to the exit, to press the pedestal button, there.
also no climbing on cubes, to get onto the light bridge.
which also increases difficulty slightly.
& no light bridge after pressing exit pedestal button.
grating added to stop you cutting out 2 cubes.
but I did it without 1 cube after update.
but am worried if I stop that, the difficulty would become to high.
also near the item limit, as usual.
though may fix later, depending on feedback & items limit ?

Wow! Really nicely built! It took me several trials to get the right ideas...probably because I did'nt read your really helpfull description!!! My solution ...not exactly as entended! In it, I inavertely cut the part were I died, because I forgot to set the "next" active orange funel to the third instead of the second!

I suspect that your map problem is due to some information, not going to the steam servers.
packet loss
i use the following site to test mine:
http://www.pingtest.net/
the problem could be your end, your internet provider or steam.
I suggest testing your internet connection, before re-publishing maps.
& maybe doing it at off peak times.
I have had a major problem with my connection.
since I disconnected my router, it has been 90% better.
but at peak times the servers & internet providers, can't always cope with the demand.

you start the sequence, with the sphere going into the button,
that turns off the light bridges, that block the exit area.
the cubes need to be stacked in the correct order.
the cube that spawns 1st, to go onto the button 1st, & spawns 2nd, onto the button 2nd. etc.
moving horizontaly it the funel, to maintain hieght, is esential.
doing a save, just before dropping the cubes onto the button, is recommended.

Yes I updated and ended up with a new map again. I wish they'd fix that problem. Sorry.
Yeah I got all the cubes ok. I watched the spheres and determined the sequence for the funnels. When I had it set up I stacked the cubes on the button. When I started it, it never seemed to start the funnel sequence right. I tried many times and can't seem to get it right. Maybe I don't know the proper order of steps.

Your updates stopped me cold. Try as I might I cannot come up with the sequence that works. I think I know how it's supposed to work but I don't seem to ever get it right. I'll keep it in my queue till I make it. btw, I took your suggestions and toncica's about url=http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=204005376 ]Stolen Property[/url]. It's a new map so your old link won't work. Try it for me if you will. Thanks.

I think I have stopped your exploits.
though you did a great job, finding these (a puzzle in itself) exploits.
as for your video part where you collect the cubes.
using portals, reduce wear on your shoe leather.
but your way, you get to look around the map more, not to miss anything.

I took a while to realize the turrets were shooting me, as I had my sound off.
but also never died. there is 2 there,
so the player may look, when the 1st explodes & see the 2nd & 3rd meet their doom :)
congratulations, you broke my map twice :)
I had lots of trouble trying to stop exploits, I found with the funel sequence.
as most solutions stopped it functioning properly.
but I thought I had stopped them till your expertise destroyed it :)
I am busy for a while, but will have to update it.

2. Reached the exit and pressed the button. What a nice surprise to see the laser. I had been looking for that since I started. And those nasty turrets got theirs. I don't know if I got the laser catcher the intended way. I put the cube in the glass box the turret was in and portaled through the panel above the exit. It lined up real well so I figured that's it.
I'm glad you put those hints in the description. Would've never made it without them.
You did real good on this one. Lot of work and testing. Thank you sir.

1. I really liked this one. Good puzzle and the chamber looks nice. Lots of elements. So many that it takes a while to see everything.
I'll start with a funny thing. The two turrets at the entrance. The one in back was using an exploit to shoot me between the glass and the floor. I couldn't see how he was getting me for a while. Never died but it was a little annoying till I figured it out.
I'm pretty sure I didn't solve exactly the intended way but maybe I did. I never could get the sequence from the start. I'd stack the cubes on the button. But you can't start at the first one else you can't start the sequence. So I put the second through fourth on it. Carried the first to the light bridge in the third funnel and tossed it in the water, This got me going from there.
