For a first map its very good, I saw a picture of the region and when I found your map I just had to use it. I will see if I can do anything with it in the editor, it might just be a case of lowering the last part of the river and/or raising the first.

It is or should be moving very slowly from the start square towards the big highway bridge. But the flow is indeed very slow and I don't know how pumping water will alter it. Sorry, that was my very first map.

When I try using this map the river isn't flowing. which way should it travel?
Ingenium  [author] 12 Dec, 2020 @ 7:37am
Yep, now the list of required objects is gone as well and the thumbnail of my order map is away and the steam workshop does not show any custom maps... I think the servers are a bit overloaded...

Hi, I'm not completely sure if I understand correctly. But I'd guess that there is currently a problem with steam. The one-click collection should contain everything, but Steam does not allow me to check it currently... so I'd guess this could be a Steam problem which should be better in a day or so (maybe servers are overloaded because of Cyberpunk 2077 release?)

Whats the name of the map theme? :)
LesserLoreDaddy 4 Jul, 2020 @ 12:53pm
Nothing about the map, I just love the name. sad the best boy's brother got screwed ):
Ingenium  [author] 4 Jun, 2020 @ 12:34pm
Thank you for the feedback. I'm happy that you have been enjoying it :-)

Btw.: The Realistic LUT v1.2 is now included in the collection.
Catalaya 2 Jun, 2020 @ 5:12pm
thank you, great job on the map. I've been enjoying it :D
Ingenium  [author] 2 Jun, 2020 @ 6:32am
Hello. I used the Realistic 1.2 LUT. I will add it to the collection once I'm back at my PC.
Catalaya 28 May, 2020 @ 11:56pm
I looked in your collection and I didn't see the LUT that you used for the map

The flow is in some positions extremly slow/weak, but it should be a steady flow. I'm aware of this issue and proposed to use workshop objects for sewage treatment, or pumping. However this and other flaws are bugging me a lot and I thought already about working on a version 2 of this map. But for now, I will leave it as it is (not much time).

Thank you for your constructive feedback and your patience with the theme. Other people would have pressed dislike without any feedback. But only such feedback can make my future maps better :-) (only recently I released a winter themed map named Grimsøy , in case you are interested... it should contain already some lessons learned compared to my first released map)

Cheers!

Yep, adding the Temperate version worked thanks! Still says the warning but I have the right theme now.

I noticed the river doesn't have flow markers.
Ingenium  [author] 24 Apr, 2020 @ 12:03am
That is different on my installation. I can select SCT-NATURERESERVE despite the temperate... it even shows me both, SCT-NATURERESERVE and SCT-NATURERESERVE-T which is the temperate version of the very same theme.
Maybe you try the temperate version which can be found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1429210265

I'm sorry for that incovenience instead of just enjoying the map.
Oddible 23 Apr, 2020 @ 11:10pm
Yeah I have it loaded. In fact, if I go to another map (vanilla, Grand River) it SCT-NATURERESERVE shows up in the available Themes drop down. But for some reason when I select Musel I only get other themes in that drop down. It loads "none" by default. If it helps, the ones it does load are "Leviante" "Not so rocky hills" "Celtic Coast Temp w/ names". It may be because your base theme is "Temperate" and not "European"?

Short google search brought me to the following thread. You might check the proposed solutions. And btw the proposed environment changer mod works fine and allows you to apply any of your themes.

Hi, are you sure to have downloaded and activated SCT-Naturereserve from the list on the right? (or easier, downloaded the whole collection?)
Let me know and might have a look later. Hope that it will work out for you.
Oddible 23 Apr, 2020 @ 9:53pm
I just downloaded everything but it is saying a custom theme is missing - what am I missing here?
Ingenium  [author] 2 Feb, 2020 @ 11:28am
Wow, not only one, but two pillars of the C:SL community comment and like my map, I feel honored :-)

@Avanya: I'm glad you like it. Recently I checked my subscribed objects and you are the author which appear most frequently (because of your warehouses, factories, quays, water and waste services... as I think that those industrial and public service things are not very realistic in the vanilla game). Looking forward for your future releases.

@MrMiyagi: Really happy you enjoy the map as you are an expert in that domain. Anyhow you have a share on this map. Your Map making guide provided valuable input. I'd probably never touched Wilbur to improve the heightmap, but he is very helpful. (Maybe one thing you might add to the guide: before releasing the map, test it ingame for glitches and blue mantles, as they are not necessarly visible in the map editor).

Really nice map, and this is your first ever published item! Keep going! I'm your follower number 2. :lunar2020hearteyesrabbit:

Very nice map! :D

And thank you for the kind words and link to my workshop ^^

I'm glad that you both like the map :-)

Beautiful map.

This map looks great I love the highway by a river.
Ingenium  [author] 25 Jan, 2020 @ 5:31am
Thank you for your feedback. I will have a closer look at the jumpy rocks you mentioned and will try to get information how to update the workshop item.
I hope you enjoy playing the map.

Just took a quick look around your map, I would say, if it is the first map that you´re releasing, keep going! Looks good! If you´re looking for feedback, I would say that there are a few `jumpy` rock egdes along the highway, and some are quite steep, but that should be an easy fix for someone starting a city on this map! Waterflow, as you already mentioned is a bit slow in some spots, but still flowing, and I would say it fitting for the map (really strong current would be weird in the river). So overall a good map and keep going!
