Note about the status of the Winter sounds mod in 1.54:

The sounds during snowfall are incompatible (although error free) with the new snowfall feature in the game, which happens to also be used by the Frosty mod.

While this part of the mod no longer works, there is some hope that SCS Software may eventually support sound for this feature given that they did some recording during snowfall on a sound recording trip.

The other features of the mod are working and should be fine in 1.54. I did intend on more updates for this mod, but with a key feature gone I think it's best to park it here for now

@JerriTheInsane - Default SCS snow doesn't have a sound file to mod for it. It's without sound unfortunately

could this be made to work with the default scs snow? i know it's not used in base game other than the christmas event, but if it can work with stuff like, alaska nttf, it would be amazing.

@vjgamz88 - What makes it a problem? That's how it sounds when sleet/snow is wiped on the windshield

Hello, can you fix the problem where when the wiper hits the bottom of the windshield, it makes a ticking sound? Can you please fix this? It's very annoying. I've even tried removing all other mods except the Sound Fixes Pack and it's still like this.

I've published version 3 of the mod. The Frosty Winter mod by Grimes is understood to be updated soon for 1.46

For anyone using the "Frost mod" and are curious as to whether or not the "Frost mod" works in ATS 1.45. it does not, no. The mod currently has lots of glitches, What ive noticed so far visually is a tremendous amount of "Texture not found" landscape and lots of completely un-rendered ground (transparent). Ive only used it for 5 minutes and this is what ive seen so far

@AbullCarriage - Most important thing is to have Winter sounds above Frosty, and have Frosty above other sound mods to ensure you get the appropriate winter sound experience

Does the load order stay the same when you have other mods like Zeemods sound mods?

Grimes just updated his mod hours ago. I'm now looking around for sounds (right here) and snow.

I was so desperate to try it I just reverted to 1.42... I have snow dammit! rofl

Frosty needs to update to 1.43.. Maybe you can nudge him so we can have an immersive 1.43 xmas lol...
