地图做的很棒,剧情环环相扣慢慢推进很有感觉,简直有游戏自带dlc的规模和品质。可惜这张图我出bug了,政策归来的游子学会高科技泰坦支援家乡,最后却只是吞到我金币-4000没有任何援兵泰坦,难度陡增,最后一波尸潮显示败局了本想拉扯游侠主角又死了,可惜。

I'm not sure if anyone had the same issue already. The Badger Cubs which you get as a reward in the beginning when you saved them in phase 16 are not spawning (I tried it two times and selected 3 and 4 badger cubs). When you choose 2 saved Badger Cubs no soldiers are spawning at all (not even the 4 regular ones which you get in the beginning). Does anyone know what's the issue or did they get removed? I just saw them spawning in Kenseis video. I play on TAB version SteamEdition V.1.1.3 (64bits).

What difficulty are you playing on and do you play no pause? I might consider another nerf if people are still finding this one a struggle.

I really like this series so far, but after losing on day 40 I just really don't want to try this one again. Way too tedious navigating through all the forest and trying to set up any sort of defense, not to mention not being able to use farms at all kinda ruins it for me. Also seemed like the day 40 horde was suddenly 10x the size of previous hordes for some reason. Oh well, I'll just pick up the series on phase 18.

In fact, I eventually had to turn in down to easy and make progress there, before going back to 500%. The only level that gave me more trouble was Phase 12 on normal X dfficulty (didn't try Super xtreme difficulty) and that felt very rewarding when I finally beat it.

All of that is to say, I think you did an amazing job making all of these maps with a continuing story, long before the update to improve the level editor. And, without a doubt, you are still the gold-standard for how great custom maps/campaigns can be.

You might be happy to know, that the first time I played through your campaigns I always played on easy/100%/not X version, and got a really good challenge from every level

This time, because I have more experience, I've been playing the X difficulty/medium/500% version of the levels and have once again got a great challenge from every level. I'm not a high APM player, never have been, But I've earned all the normal Starcraft 2 campaign achievements and beaten it on brutal, so I'd say your medium or X difficulty is akin to that, and its been great

As you mentioned, this level is particularly brutal. Lack of building space, tons of infected on the map and in waves, no good farm locations, and no iron or oil except very far away, makes this the second most difficult map of yours that I've re-played so far.

Hey Kefka, I remember you, how time flies :)

Thank you for all the kind words, it means a lot that the campaigns are still enjoyed years later. It's nice too to hear about some of the details you particularly liked, as I do have a habit of questioning my design decisions. This map especially turned out pretty brutal, so I'm glad the piano Witcher music is enjoyed every time. I personally liked the bird song ambience!

Hey POB! you might remember me from a year ago or so, I'm replaying your 28/29 years campaigns again because they're so amazing

I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate all your work, and in particular, when we meet miranda for the first time it plays "toss a coin to your witcher" which I've genuinely listened to all the way through every time, it was a great choice to include it

Thank you again for your hard work, and I hope you've regained a sense of normalcy after the passing of your mother, It was sweet to include it at the end of "leviathan wakes"

这张简单啊,开局直接往下清到地图边缘,拆的剩一个地雷,铁换石头起2个仓库然后直接一键拆除地雷,直接金币和铁爆仓,剩下的就是慢慢发育了

@POBmaestro i'm sure you think a lot about this map and the other maps. at it's core i believe this hardcore challeging freaks love it. so at least u did really amazing work. it's just me and my lack of good gameing skills at a certain level. but i'm just really happy to hear that you still working on your maps. and im happy that u are change things in future. and to be honest in most maps everyone can take the higher challenge due the start options. so i don't think it will interruptet your intended difficult level.

@zaradur and @Doc Wyoming - thanks for your feedback. I've been thinking about this map for many months since its release. It's high difficulty is very popular with those that like the reward of the challenge. But it is also my least popular map due to the difficulty. It is a difficult decision for me on what to do, but after much thought I have now reduced the difficulty of the map by 10 - 20% to reduce the frustration. Obviously it's too late for you both now, but hopefully others will enjoy this map more now overall. Also in my future maps the Easy difficulty will be easier.

In short a pain in the ass! Really hard for me. First try I die. Second try was a little bit better. But the giant and the horde from North kick my ass. Stopped them at the very last. I will never try this at higher difficult than 100 %. But even at 100 % I don't want to play it again.

@Daz - this is a bug with the game itself unfortunately. Sorry it happened to you, the final text was as following:

Unity: “All the infected in the area have been defeated and the Sovereign Nation is safe. Now let’s make sure the helicopter is fully fuelled and leave for Prague.”

KarEssMoua: “What’s the rush? But I’m a man of my word. As you assisted us in defending the Sovereign Nation I’ll take you to Prague now.”

Unity: “Domain, it’s time to move out. We’re going to find the Magic Badger.”

(then it told you your morale and if you exiled/executed Miranda)

Any possibility you could message me what happens after winning this mission, as soon as i finished, unity started talking and then the final score box appeared over the top and I couldn't get to view the rest of the story/if my morale had changed at the end. I don't remember on previous maps having the final score box appearing before the story text is over?

Had a blast playing all of the maps so far! As always the storytelling and gameplay are balanced well and the maps themselves are a good challenge with interesting mechanics. Can't wait to find out how it plays out!

Sorry, but honestly after playing it my morale dropped to -10. 3-4 points of why I feel more frustrated than having fun from this phase:1.Trees at the beginning right in front of command center are honestly annoying. I didn't mind those single trees in the paths but when you don't know how map looks like and you try to build out it's time consuming (more time consuming if for whatever reason you grab command center after first wave[0 day wave] )2.train building in last phase was controlled(neutral), here you have not only to control it but also power up, at day 30 I got acces to it;

I would love to, to atleast have to control it. 3.Either it was intentional or not - waves were coming from directions west/north/south/east, I thought it will re-appear again on west side (day 41 when I lose ) not only wave comes from south side, but also wasn't even announced from which side it's coming from. 4.If I fail again, I'm gonna skip it and play another phase (when it will be available) rather than gathering more frustration and 0 fun. Last phase took me 130 days only because I wanted to have fun, here I am forced to win in 67 days. :sadbs: That's my opinion of this map, if you took it as offense in any way I'm sorry but I didn't mean it in that way

@orionmnt - thanks, glad you liked it! It wasn't supposed to be quite this close (especially for no pause players) but I like how it ended up being that way as I have seen a number of tense close finishes! The final giant spawns are random and the shortcut is actually because of how the fake waves are designed at the start. I only had one take the shortest route which certainly added a high degree of surprise to the final wave. Well done for surviving 3-4!

Very nice map, the challenge was up there. Even the main building tanked some damage at the final wave, probably the closest victory ever i have experienced, was so chill at the start sending group of snipers to clean then suddenly a wild Giant appeared O_O :D I have one question, was it intentional with map layout (when I check the map again, it has to be, they have like no other way cuz most of the paths are short for them ) so on the final wave like 3-4 giants choose the "shortcut" to the main building :) Really nice surprise at the start with that "soundtrack"
