Your idea of a hard map is a blank room with a spotless tiled floor and all you have to do is walk from one end to the other, BUT WAIT, 95% of the tiles on the floor are death drops that give way to underground spikes! This is mindlessly simple and free of any skill or difficulty to someone who knows.
86 days for hard? scarce resources? 33 days is all I needed after trying blind once (fyi, thats 2 tries) and I literally quit the map in disgust. Turns out that bee-lining for hidden freebies and abandoned buildings to sell gives thousands of resources.
And as far as adding rpg progression?
You made a choose-your-own-adventure with just one "right" adventure, somehow oblivious to the extreme likelihood that people are kind of expecting multiple adventures, not "wrong" outcomes.
this really is the expansion to the main campaign; congrats on nailing the disappointment of the original.
I initially felt overwhelmed by the political systems, but it got better as I kept playing. Still lost my dear Ava to an unlucky 5% lol.
I heavility recommend those customs scenarios for some good times, they are amongst the best I played !

Hi and thank you for your comment. You can play the medium difficulty without spawning all the units given to you :)
But to be honest, I'm spending already around 80 to 150 hours to each map, and adding a new level of difficulty will take me too much time for one map. I will try to lower the second level of difficulty a bit on next maps (from State 7 as I'm finishing State 7).

I'm glad you didn't give up and finally achieve to beat the first map! Good job! I did add a small tutorial where a politician explains you how the convoys are working. :)

Ok, here after starting over and over again on 780% difficulty, I finally managed to crack the code, on how to handle this map.
Thanks a ton for a well designet map, which is very exiting to handle, and frustrating, just like TAB should be. :)
I got inspired by the example of other better players on the video following.
One recommendation is to explain about Convoys in the beginning, maybe you do that, but i did not notice. I only discovered the Convoys then looked at other playing. And they are very helpfull in the game.
Anyway, thanks for this map, now on to next map. :)

do you think this is adequate? every 2-3 days a new wave, when you can’t even build a shock tower

Thanks for your comment. The lack of resoures can be fixed with convoys which are delivering resources for free (after building them).
I built the map to force the player to be careful of its construction. It's clearly not a regular chinese map where you can snowball hard in 5 days.
It's saddened me you did not enjoy that much the map, and I am looking forward to see your comment for the next map !

FOR THE NEW EMPIRE !
On the other hand, I'm working on an automatic departure of the convoys, where you will have a range of 6 hours where you are able to change the resources you want to import. This optimization is to give more fluent gameplay without having to set every day a new importation of goods. When this update will be released, it will also be applied on the rest of the campaign.
Due to this optimization, state 2 might be released between 25th & 31st of January. (Map layout almost finished with state events finished by 50%).
