@Kallybra iirc it was always being like that, when you go slowly you can still hear footstep sounds, you can barely hear them but they were still there. I'm not sure if it still works this way in the newest gmod version, as I left it long time ago, unfortunately, may be someone else can confirm that.

Wait, how is this possible that you move so slowly, yet the sounds are there? I've been trying to figure out how to do that for a time

I'm not that much of Gmod expert, but lets try to sort this issue out.

Step 1: unsubcribe from all your footsteps addons (this one and the one you used before). Do it while the game is not running.
Step 2: launch the game, get in the main menu, check if these addons are not in the addons list now. If they aren't, you are good to go further. You should close the game now.
Step 3: navigate to your "GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons" and check if footsteps addons files are there (they should have to be there still even if you unsubbed from them). For example, this addon is called "high_heels_footsteps_1958639345.gma". Find the one for your old footsteps addon and delete them both entirely (don't worry, its safe and won't break anything).
Step 4: now subscribe to this addon and launch the game. Check if the addon is in the addons list. If its there, try to join your local server (or any other server that doesn't have similar addons) and check if you hear new sounds.

recently i had another footsteps addon but that bored me so i got this one to test it out, i then disabled the other and and enabled this one but the other one was still on, i uninstalled it and it was still playing the old addon, i uninstalled it, reinstalled it, i tried reinstalling this one but the old footsteps wont work. Do you know any tips on trying to get these to work because no matter what i've done nothing works. :/
