You're typing in wrong sound names into the emitter, they should look like "song1" and not "music/hl2_song1.mp3".
Again, you can find them in the Sound Property Browser tab (not the File Browser tab).

You can use the Wiremod sound emitter to play hl2 music tracks. In the Sound Property tab inside of the emitter's sound browser you can search for "song" to find a list of music tracks.
