And I do suck at documentation so there is definitely some issue on my side
When first went in it wouldnt scroll. No idea why but it is scrolling now. And ya with all that in mind it does make sense. I didnt realize how real world focused game was. I figured it was basic, like if wanted could have a car hold 50 tons if wanted and be fine. But realizing it has HP and suspension and tires and... ya its lot more in-depth then I thought. Would need to fine tune so much to get weight I want its not worth it.
Looking at the game wrapper you wouldnt expect that level of detail. I do want a slight boost to capacity for my truck. Its engine pretty beefy as is. But I can see how its balanced. Sorry for all the hassle.
and yes it does. I did though about doing some compensation by buffing suspension/power but then tyres where blowing out much faster on each bump or you flip car on each bend.
And then i realised it's a nice balancing thing - you can overload but you can be dead slow or waste engine :)
Didnt know game simulated horsepower as well. Looking in the vehicle script im noticing a ton of physics in there. Suspension and all. Also seems option window cant handle but so many mods. It wont scroll "or im blind on how it does" and your mod isnt listed. I'll just make more trips then to collect items. Or stop hoarding every thing in sight lmao Thanks for the info.
Also whats RTFM?
RTFM
by default settings it will not modify if vanilla trunk capacity is 165 or above.
If builder preset is not available in sandbox, try this:
add sandbox option mod, start builder game, use sandbox options mod to change options of running game, save and reload to make effect.
Also RTFM2 - there is reason why those limits are there as engine might not be able to pull.
AFAIK 450 HP engine will not pull 2000 weight out of box.
If so You can choose sandbox and then from it Apocalypse preset - will give you same thing but allow to fine tune it.
Just tested and mod still works
Want to have 2x, 5x, 10x on that 800 truck - go.
Just keep in mind, it will not move :)
Not sure what you mean by "organized mess it up"?
Not abandoned but not playing PZ actively. Will go back to it on next version and will need to add settings so everyone can configure it as they please.
And thanks for kind words.
in any other way you will end up with all cars caped in 165 OR small cars having more trunk spaces than vans.
this does make cars a bit too good imo, but is also not exactly easy to undo on a server
This version use LUA code (override for car spawning) that does look for Trunk and TruckBed parts and multiply weight if original one is less than 165.
undiscovered - needs to be in map chunks you where not yet - PZ41 does pre-load maps chunks.
just want to say again; only and best trunk-mod !
you do other mods also ?
will do, and I found this recently
gonna bump this quickly to higher value and get modoptions in some time.
you say "if less than 150", but vanilla-trunks go all the way up to 160.
now i found a perfect in shape step-van, with 157 trunk-space.
but the smaller cars have bigger storage ...
check this out, sort per trunk-space and see
https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Vehicles#Available_vehicles
thanks
maybe i can also learn with google ...
If i ever find a time to do some modding I will try to add options to fiddle with it.
nice and thanks
If you can send me info about car and trunk, I could see if there are any special definitions for this combo.
Also, I found that depends how car is parked, finding collision box to be able to enter car (that green box) is different. Have you tried to use other door (passenger front)?or is not allowing at all?
And also, any errors logged in logfile?.
thx.
When I fill up my trunk I would be stopped from entering that vehicle through any of the doors. I tried entering other cars I have around and they all still allowed me to enter, but my truck never did until I quit to main menu and reloaded my save.
After reloading the save, the game would roll back a few hours and all the new stuff I put in the trunk would be gone. It seems that it happens after I go over a certain weight limit, but that could be wrong and it may happen at whatever weights.
I don't know for sure this issue has to do with this mod, but it has only happened the once in the 40+ hours I've played with your mod installed. It happens repeatedly with this particular truck though.
Thanks.
