I used this with LWOTC but it really unbalances the game , i had no problems with it, no crashes. Chose to forgo just because of the balancing

Any thank you to the author. I've had plenty of crashes with heavily modded LWOTC but there was no sign that this or the required items caused any of them.

I have used this with LWOTC in 2 campaigns and it caused no problems. This was 9-15 months ago so LWOTC mod could have changes that effect this. It obviously effects game balance but I dont find for me LWOTC very balanced or very fun without mods (or emergency console commands if needed).

I also recommend not putting mods during your run and use it at the start which is why you might be having issues. Always use mods on fresh campaigns youll see problems right away.

Sounds like the numbers in the INI file might be incorrect. Unfortunately just correcting it wont correct the point already spawned. I suggest you use the developer console and launch the game in that mode (look it up online) and force a point to spawn with the function SpawnPOI.

I loaded old save unbinded this mod and tried again, still the same. 155 days for contacting a reagon. Seriously whats going on someone help please.

My run just got ruined, I suspect it is because of this mod. I started contacting a reagon and saw 155 days. And tried skipping everything thinking it might be a visual bug but no. It literally is 155 days. What could cause that and what do I do? Any ideas?

According to what I was reading, it has problems for the black market, and with a console it can be fixed.
My mistake is that I have been playing the game for about 4 months, waiting for an advance and I see it stuck, the region is not freed, the hidden base does not appear, new enemies do not appear since I made the shadow portal...
I tried to use the command and it doesn't generate it, nor avatar bodies.

so I think that mod is definitely not compatible with LWOTC

Great mod especially liked the description of POIs whitch make more immersion to Xcom. To bad with my LWOTC+RPG mod setup this mod causing bug where infiltration reaches 100% ignored by game even on 200. Which results all operatives on missions that i cant complete ^)

After adding the black market manually, new POIs stopped appearing. Nothing helps. My game company is at an impasse. Completed about half of the game.

its not an issue, i did look in lwotc xcomgameboard.ini, the range is from 1-2 days,
so there u can change it

Switched to scanning sites plus, which interestingly has same issue - but has a config you can modify to correct the days it should take.

Trying this out with LWOTC
Works so far, but the initial POIs are taking only 1 DAY to scan, including soldier, engineer, alloys types.
Ones that replace those have gone up to 2 DAYS.
Haven't tested further yet.
Is this working as intended - I assumed it would be something in the region of 5-12 days.

In a standard XCOM game at 3 a piece it should at least take 2/3rds or more usually. There is no fix unfortunately as the function is private and protected and no patches are coming for modders compatibility. XC2 is dead software on the dev side.

This mod is great, but even with only using 3 POI's, they started dissappearing pretty early compared to normal. I think they only showed up for maybe 1/3rd of the campaign for me.

When i first used this mod it worked but after a while i got no Pois at all.

Resuscribed, created a new config and using rewards deck refresher before coming across this one but nothing works.

Even when unsuscribing i don't get any Pois anymore.

Any Advice?

Havent tested it up to the end its possible. I wouldnt go above 3 POIs for ultra long games. 4 for classic wotc is also good.

Are POI's meant to run out during the endgame? I have the reward decks refresher installed and haven't had any POI's for 2 moniths.

Also i have scientists and engineers myself with the mod i dont recall any freezes, i just make POIs using the game code i dont think ill be able to assist

hello Advent Avenger. I have an issue with the mod. If the scientist or a technican is a POI the game freezes on the strategic World map. I removed allways configfiles and tested it with several starts of a new campaign. I saved the log file for your reference. It happens in the first month and only with this two pois

@Zeronidus... the rewards given in the POI do indeed come from reward decks and the game does not always refresh those decks. Any POI that offers a reward and or Proving grounds project that offers a reward come from reward decks and you should prob be subbed to the Reward Decks Refresher mod that forces all decks to refresh. Ive made it a requirement of any such mods that offer rewards from a deck.

That's really interesting. I wonder if it's intentional or some obscure underlying bug that the devs didn't pick up on. How much effort would it be to disable them altogether and run your own version? Like Oblivion said, I love dragging the game out and just turning it into a sandbox.

i ran out of poi's while i made my shadow facility. but then again i purposefully drag out the game cuz i want to play longer. it ends so fast if u go to finish...

I have no idea honestly. The code shows that the deck is refreshing every call but underneath i think theres native code or something thats preventing generation at some point. Even if i were to understand the function is not modifiable youd need high lander help.

It's been a while since I looked into the code but I remember a bunch of rewards get pulled from decks which get refilled over time. Do the POIs pull from their own deck of rewards?
