It was throwing some errors but I recompiled and it started working. Wish I had documented the errors before I fixed it but I didn't think about it. The script is quite impressive and the documentation is relatively easy to understand. Good job!

I've uploaded Virtual Hotbar to the workshop and published a (mostly) complete guide.

If you're just copying the ship into the game, there should be no set-up required.

The main cockpit should have a screen (second in the LCD list, called "Top Left Screen"), with several greenish-blue buttons on it. These are the Virtual Hotbar Buttons. Each one has a number below it for the key-press you need to activate it.

Pressing 8 and 9 will take you to the previous and next VHB pages respectively.

There's also a flight manual in the Pilot Seat inventory which has a more detailed explanation of what each Virtual Hotbar Key does.

I also plan to publish another update to the Angler soon, and I'll make sure to have vanilla alternatives mapped to subsequent in-game hotbar pages.

@megabyte264 I pasted a copy of the workshop version of the ship into my game world, and it seems to be working, so I need to ask some questions to help troubleshoot the issue.
1. Are the buttons appearing in the upper left screen of the pilot seat, and main display of the copilot seat?
2. In the in-game hotbar for both seats, are you in hotbar 1, which should have the hotbar program block mapped to most of the buttons?
3. Did you paste the ship in using creative tools or did you build it from a projector in survival?

I'll try to get a link and documentation for Virtual Hotbar up soon.

Not sure if I set it up incorrectly or if the update broke the script but the virtual hotbar doesnt seem to do anything and I can't find any documentation to try to fix it.

Hmm....yeah, that might be something I haven't run into in Survival, because I usually try to cruise on batteries in Atmo, and then only turn the engines on when my batteries are low. I have run into the situation a couple of times where my Hydrogen thursters weren't firing, because I forgot I'd left the tanks on stockpile.

*edit* The Hydrogen Engines interfere with the Hydrogen thrusters if they're on Stockpile. Dunno why they were on that setting, but once it was turned off, they started behaving with the generators on

*update* Found the interference...the "Engines AGL" grouping in the toolbars (2, 3) are interrupting the Hydrogen thrusters when "On"

Ok, after a little testing, it's not just after disconnecting from a platform. Something is interfering with the Hydrogen thrusters, even after reloading. It shows them on, but not really firing/thrusting, even in space. I've flashed them on and off, also flashing inertial dampeners...the large thrusters on the back will get a long trail for a second then go back to idle animation, and almost zero thrust in any direction.

Think I'm going to make a 'Roid base to keep it just off planet and get/make a cargo shuttle to transfer stuff from mining in space(bought the "Gerbil" space miner from NPC)

Finally got it to behave and out of atmo...reloading and keeping the set toolbars seemed to help. Wasn't sure about the toolbars, so I changed them for my comfort, but now I'm going to adapt to them since that seems to have helped

Is that with the hydrogen thusters on? Also, which inventory settings are you using? I designed it with 'Realistic' settings. Sorry for the level zero troubleshooting questions. I have run into issues in the past where the game kinda glitched after I undocked from a platform, and I couldn't get any lift. I think reloading might have fixed that.

Even with Max Thrust, with an empty inventory, I can only get a little over 3400 Alt in a 1g atmo before I come crashing down

Apparently I'm missing something...I built this in Atmo, and I can't seem to get any lift, even with all thrusters active.

Parts list helped...sadly, my craptastic printing machine means I have to root around in the core areas to finish some of the building...Autosave overwriting your main save instead of making a separate save doesn't help. Either way, I've got it mostly build right now, just have to put the finishing touches on and should be gold

I think from building it in survival I remember the Grav-Gen components were the only particularly exotic parts. There's one gravity generator and one jump drive. I'll try to have a closer look later tonight.

Any chance for a detailed parts list? I'm looking to attempt my first printing machine for this, but I'm unsure of all the more "exotic" parts that I may need to make for it...

have you built this mirrored, as well? I can't look at it and not see this ship as parts of a greater whole. I mirrored it and was going to use them as nacelles on a modular ship, for personal use.

Hi! How did you make such a Golden color? Is this a Deluxe pack? Then why doesn't it show up in the DLC list? Or there is what the secret, as Silver texture recolor with silver-of gray in silver-any?

@Ligma I think it's tucked underneath the floor on the right side of the ship, near the window that looks out at the turret. You might be able to access it if you grind away the blocks directly below the turret.

I got it sorted thanks! Just had to add the close door function to timer block. Other than that I replaced the hydrogen engines with reactors for better efficiency and it's a sweet ship!
