Version 1.08 Update ("Rohtak") is now LIVE!

1. No princely states for now. British Raj will gain control of Aden only upon completion of "Protector of Aden" focus.

2. Restructured the India focus tree to make it horizontal and spread out instead of the current vertical format.

3. Converted almost all 70 day focuses into 35 day focuses, instead more conditions have been included that will need to be fulfilled before the focus becomes available.

4. Territorial expansion (previously being covered through the RAW and other unlockable decision categories) have now been brought back into the focus tree (although in a different format).

5. More decisions to increase political power gain.

6. Pakistan gets more units upon independence.

7. More options under the National Reforms focus branch to improve industrial and state capacity.

8.This mod is incompatible with Graveyard of Empires DLC. DO NOT ENABLE BOTH TOGETHER!

@Orphanmaker hey man, been a while how are you doing. Came back to HOI4 just to play this mod. Leagues better than anything paradox has done for this part of the world.

What do you have in your pipeline next. What does the next update hold for us?

This is an absolutely fantastic mod. I've had a lot of fun playing it, and I'm pleasantly surprised to see South Asia done justice in such a tremendous amount of detail. I'm willing to help out with this mod in any capacity.
Thank you to the person who made this mod, you've done an amazing job. I have my own ideas and inputs if you'd like to hear them.

Ok looks like there might be something wrong with the building placements in Kashmir. I'll try and fix that now.

In the meantime, another option would be to run with "-debug" included in your "launch options" under "properties" and see if the game starts.

Can you guys check if you have "ANYTHING* in the your "C:\Users\<your windows id>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\map" folder? If that folder exists, just delete it.

It's possibly some error in the mod files that could cause that, but I'll wait until that error is found because this mod is definitely very good.

Ohh that sucks, I cant think of what else you could try next though.

Update 2 - Restarting my system didn't work either.

Will now try restarting my desktop. Beyond that I'm not sure what to try next. Lovely design though. Can't wait to get it working ! You guys have done a banging job :)

Tried the following - Verifying the game files. Deleting all items in the HoI folder in Documents. Reinstalling the base game entirely. Reinstalling the mod.
Result - Still getting the same error message - "Failed to load the map.
Some errors are present in the map definition and have been logged to error.log
You might want to disable your mods and try again. If that fails, check the integrity of game files inside steam. If that fails, try clearing your user directory from the launcher."

What about others? Is the mod running ok? I am able to run the published version without any major errors breaking the game.

I'd try (1) unsubscribing from the mod, (2) uninstalling game, (3) manually purging user directory and HOI4 base folder, (5) restarting system, (6) reinstalling game, (7) subscribing to mod again.

Version 1.16 is the current version.

Update - managed to launch the mod. I get an error based on map design after I select a country and start the game. Trying to verify files.

Hmm, the published version is working for me. You may have to try clearing out the user directory manually after un-installation.

I uninstalled and reinstalled game and mod. Still same error persist.

@Twiggs, yeah - I think so too, which is why I suggested clearing the user directory. Looks like a clean reinstall of the entire game is probably the next step.

If @ElSovietico972 is talking about the crash I think they're talking about, it doesn't give you the standard Paradox crash report where you can actually tell them what happened. But you do get this info.
