so i just downloaded this mod and checked the unit stats when i started a round with dol amroth and the dunedain infantry seem a little op. like 200% bonuses against everyone and the dol amroth knights only have around 50 % bonuses against everyone, whats up with that? the mod looks great otherwise

For Isengard, you just need the newer versions of the mod. For Mordor it is intended that you cannot. See levy bug.

Version 1.07 of War of the Ring has officially been released:

was anyone able to form the Khazad Dum Kingdom with Balins Colony?
i tried SO hard and in the end i did it but now i just have like 5 dwarven pops who contribute to my military, the rest of them cannot be anything other than slaves.

I think not a single longbeard pop grew in those 20 years i needed to form Khazad Dum.
Is that.. normal?

v1.04 still works perfectly fine with the latest version of Imperator, it just doesn't have all the new stuff. When Blood Royal (mod's original creator) returns, this mod will be updated to the latest version.

Hello, Ty for the mod! ENjoying it very much. One question, I took one of the dwarven minor nations and basically walked it down to moria. I took it over but now my proviences only spawn goblin pops. I cant grow any pops. any help? ty

Oh and mixed elf and dwarf provinces/territories (unsure which level it is considered at) stack growth penalties, which can make growth even negative.

Is there any way, planned or implemented, to unlock more military tradition trees now that we cannot integrate new cultures? Dwarf traditions have some juicy options my Noldor nation wants a piece of.

Picking the Noldor tradition to make heavy cavalry cheaper did not appear to affect the only cavalry, elf horse archers, I can add to my legion.

@Cymoric: The starting Moria Orc chiefs likely have lower martial than Galadriel, so morale will drop faster for them. Elven units have far better discipline and morale than Orc units, so Orc armies need to be considerably larger to defeat smaller Elven armies.

This seems to be broken. I play as the southern pink orcs and go to war with the elves. As soon as my army enters combat with the elven army my morale drops to .53 from 3.2 or so and my troops all immediately start red skulling. This kinda breaks the whole army combat aspect of the game.

Played as the dwarves SW of Gundabad. Had to focus completely on trading for 7 grain to stop starvation. Angrmar fell apart due to starvation...

Isn't the pop cap malus in Erebor a bit overkill? -40% from Mountain and Frigid climate makes it almost impossible to get 80 pop for metropolis to finnish the mission

Love the mod and having loads of fun on it and like others have said it runs seemingly better than vanilla which is mad, just 1 quick question as stuck on mordor mission on building a great wonder dont seem to see where to do it as not in decisions?

Brilliant mod! WOuld it maybe be possible to reimplement cultural assimilation in a seperate optional submod? That way, players could simply pick which is more important to them - realistic levies or the roleplaying of cullture-assimilating conquered peoples. Thank you very much for all your great work!

I would like to suggest to enable Cultural and Religious conversion.

See it not as a hobbit turns into men but rather that population gets replaced by not ingame represented migration and population growth. So much depends on the pops and it would make you interact much more with conquered pops. The minigame of conversion is a huge part of imperator. which is currently turned of.

There is tech, just scroll around the window :) I had the same issue at first and thought tech was disable somehow, but it's there, for some reason the view is just not focused on the actual techs but somewhere way off to the sides.

I'm really stoked for this mod and that it is worked on (👍), but it feels more like an unfinished snapshot, which is still better than nothing (again 👍).
