I'd be interested in trying to maintain this mod, I know code but I'm just starting to learn how SE modding works so I'll be a bit out of my depth at first, I just don't want to see a mod with such potential lost

This could be so good if it was made compatible with other mods such as Industrial Overhaul, Thermal Mechanics, Critical Reactor/Tank Explosions, Deadly Re-Entry + Aerodynamics, DNSK or Eat.Drink.Sleep.Repeat....the potential is mind boggling, please please please get around to updating this :)

This is a great Mod! Currently working in 1.199.025 SP. But i will be removing it until the counter sound can be turned off/adjusted. Keep up the great work!

After looking at the code, I noticed there is a config file that is loaded up. I think I can edit that to get the radiation range to where I want it.

Hey, I would like to merge this mod in with some other mods for a server for other players. Can I do that?

I want to remove the suit feature, and make this mod play nice with a few other mods.

This mod is impressive and just what I'm looking for in a more immersive reactor. Any chance for that update? I'm really hoping for the ability to use this mod with other modded reactors.

Okay after reading through the comments I discovered the random ticking from the geiger counter is supposed to happen. I gotta say, please for the love of god, give us a way to edit or remove that option. It gets a bit maddening after awhile

Is there a place I can go for what sort of blocks constitute as hazards? I'm in a Single player, Small ship gone large with Light protection blocks all around, no Tanks, batteries, generators within at least 2 small blocks and getting hot and cold damage simultaneously

After messing around with it a bit, I do like this mod, but I have a two part question: First, is it me, or does this mod lower the range from which I can access the inventory/terminal of blocks?

Second, is this intentional, so that players have to plan around hazards more carefully, or is it a side affect of the way the radiation/heat/cold area around hazardous blocks is calculated?

Hi, is this mod still working ore do i have to wait for a patch because i testet it and even if i only had uranium in the reactor it wasent melting down and i even didnt have the icons on my hud the only thing i know that works is that i got damage for standing next to the reactor.

As an idea, there have been a few "thermal signature" mods floating around for a while now and having radiation/heat detectors that work similarly might be good. You could also then add EM absorption panels or something which would weaken the signals you release.

Is there any way to decrease the rate of random ticking? I'm no where near anything radioactive, so I assume this is "background" -- well, actual geiger counters let you adjust them so you're not constantly annoyed by background levels and get warned when there's an actual danger.

really having a tool would just be something that takes up space in your inventory (because pulling it out would be way more work than I'd be willing to put in for it). Consider it as being a device built into your suit. I might see what I can do about adding the actual counter number near the icon. I'll keep that in mind while I'm wrapping up the new update.

Yeah i sorted it out, could you make a geiger counter as a tool for it aswell? im aware there kinda already is with the clicking noise, but as like a handheld tool or numbers at the side of the screen?

Do you see any icons appear (and/or do you take damage) in the lower right of the screen (above the hud), when you are near any of the blocks listed in the description? My problem is i dont have any coolent or control rods to begin with, and when i take it to below 75% it does nothing and breaks apart, like when you grind a normal block down?

Additionally, grinding a reactor while functioning, or shooting a reactor until its below ~75%

Remove either Coolant (shut off coolant gen / coolant tank), or remove control rods (cobalt/silver ingot) from the reactor
