It means the campaign. If you play 190 he should arrive winter 194
If he doesn't he could be dead, or another mod, or event happened stopping him from turning up.

How exactly will the recruit event be triggered

I am new to this game. Do you mind explaining what does it mean by "182-Yes, 190-Yes". Is it that for all campaign started at 182, lubu arrives to player? On the other hand, I just started a new game with Liubei at 190 and waited for 18 turns (past winter 194) and nothing happens

Recommend downloading the court actions and politics mod so you can use 'secure loyalty' for 20 satisfaction to keep him above 0 until he's down with the 1 turn cooldown.

Thanks it works with MTU+some other mods, put it last on the thingy. For the others that complain that he is leaving etc take the other mod called :UI 1.3.22. Youll make your life easy

Dear Dr.Goo if you use remove CEO, then why not add something like give_CEO "humble" to make sure he not so angry with lv7 which usually make him easy to gone away. I add this type of trait sound like weird to him, but it is safe to use him :)

Hey DR GOO, I was play Liu Bei in 190 and i cant get gim promote or gold cuz he needs 1 round to respawn but he also leave after 1 round. And i used mod to get his approval to 9, he still leave. Is that because i play Liu Bei so he leaves anyway or its just mod issue? thanks

JaimeTheLion did you try to promote him or give him gold? if you can get his approval even up to 5-8 he'll stay (just) however using another mod that makes characters less of an issue with their opinion of you would help in your case.

He's dead in 200. To make a mod for 200 campaign would mean spawning him which is too much hassle for what it's worth with issues.

Should work with anyone, just make sure you got a position for him, anywhere, cause if he mad, he gonna go boom boom.

Is there any way to make it so that this mod disables the event in Mandate of Heaven where Lu Bu, if he is in your faction, leaves and forms his own faction in Yingchuan? A couple of MoH games with this mod enabled, Lu Bu arrives in Spring 193 and then immediately leaves for Yingchuan the next turn. And I suppose that since this mod's event caused him to arrive in 193, the mod event doesn't trigger again in Winter 194 to cause Lu Bu to come back.

Mod works but the issue is that he has a ridiculous -72 satisfaction modifier so he leaves immediately the turn after he arrives and I can't do anything about it since he can't be assigned or anything...

I'd like to see a version that 100% works in 194 if possible as well. I've managed a work around (though it does not work all the time). If you turn this mod on after Lu Bu joins Liu Bei, I've gotten him after a number of turns rather consistently.

Hi. i was wondering if you could make a version of this mod with just the event that removes Lu Bu's disloyal trait? I have previously been using your mod for this reason when i was playing as Lu Bu at the 190 start date with the new major factions mod but it does not seem to trigger anymore for Lu Bu at the 194 start date.

He needs a special version like Diaochan. He comes, but the game is scripted he moves to Liu Bei on that year. I haven't had enough play time to figure out a fix.

Plus, you can play as Lu Bu in A World Betrayed.

Um... I'm not exactly sure if the Lu Bu arriving in 194 mod is the mod you'll want to use for A World Betrayed. Not that it's outdated anymore, but it might break something.

So currently for The World Betrayed DLC, at around turn 7 an event pops up stating Lu Bu defects to a different faction when i got him several turns before. Anyway for Lu Bu to appear at my faction after he defects ?

P.S. I got the mod before Winter of 194 struck.

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, so I'll make it simple. Lu Bu is shown to still be a faction, even though I occupied his only settlement, so I got this mod to get him since he was basically missing and the game didn't say he was dead. Now, it's Winter of 194, and he didn't appear. Again, the game didn't say that he was dead. What did I do wrong?

First let me thank you. Great mods. Second only Lü Bu seems to have a bug. When he looses his disloyal trait it seems that something goes wrong. Playing Cao Cao, he is still unhappy and instead of the disloyal trait he has a field in which is written: unknon trait.

Ok, i think it got something to do with Liu Chong, at least i had the issues with his faction, because you are more involved in Lu Bus scripts, giving him a city or going to war. Didn't encounter an issue playing a different faction

Obviously the dlc is scripted concerning LuBu. I need to dig under the hood.

Looking into MoH version guys, be patient. He didn't even turn up for me in 182 campaign.

He bailed on me as well in MoH. He joined, i pushed him to 70+ happiness and the next turn he left to join his own faction

@JX83 MoH is when he bailed on me as Cao Cao. didn't happen in the 190 start
