CE patch is now next to be made.
- Fixed the horns graphics for the infant and children Oni.
- Ancestral Oni draw sizes readjusted for RimWorld version 1.4's scaling.
* Big update to set the Lite version to be in line with the main mod again.
* Now available for RimWorld 1.4.
* The hidden Revenant Talons faction is removed entirely, with the new Revenant Talons appearing on the world map and can be befriended.
* XML Extensions support added.
* Normal Oni speed reduced from 6.24 to 6.14.
* Ancestral Oni speed reduced from 7.14 to 6.94.
* Ancestral Oni research speed penalty improved from -70% to -60%, and removed the reduction to social impact.
* Improvement to the Combat Extended patch, covering many previously missed areas.
* Oni of the Rim: Lite version is updated for 1.3 and is also now available for 1.4.
* For 1.3 version, the Revenant Talons are now properly generated as a natural enemy.
* Probably many other tiny bits not documented because I failed and forgot to do it as I go.
But she IS nekkid...?
It's extremely weird. There's no error or anything, but I need to give my Ancestral Oni clothing in order for them to not be unhappy about having clothing on, which makes zero sense.
Still unsure what happened, so I wrote things up from scratch...
I even stripped out main mod and this mod to only have the race file and nothing else... And this one fails to load despite both technically adding EXACTLY the same files.
Until I get out of this mental break this gave me, this mod is discontinued for a while.
The feathers are not in the Lite version. I have not included the Megaowl in this version because there are mixed feelings towards these little terrors, and the purpose of the Lite version is to simply have the race and none of their culture, items or tech.
If you want to change how frequent they appear in other factions, you will want to tweak the Patch file named VanillaFaction.
Keep note that these numbers there go in line with the relative numbers that the faction spawns, that is why there is always some spawning. For example if the total number of pawns listed in the faction group is 50, and a Oni pawn contributes to 0.4, it should be average 1 Oni every 125 pawns spawned by the faction. But there are other factors involved such as combat power rating and stuff.
AlienRaceSettings is mostly for player related spawnings, or slave trade.
can I do that in files or something?
Main mod following up soon.

Any help?
- Oni hediff passive now hidden to reduce clutter.
- Player Oni tribal faction can now craft war masks and war veils, and improved forageability like their vanilla tribal counterparts.
- Scenarios been reworked to mimic their vanilla versions.
- New "Wild Oni awakening" scenario, basically same as "Naked Brutality". Starting research and tech level is tribal, rather than industrial start.
- Main mod's storyteller is now included in this version, assists with compatibility upon switching. Optional to use for a more difficult playthrough with anything else.
- Oni faction's relation changes over time got a fix. Range is now -90 to 50. (-50 to 50 for civil outlanders and gentle tribe, as a comparison). Upper range use to be 5... Typo'd there.
Probably other updates I can't quite remember to improve blending this race mod with vanilla.
Yes, that texture mod is compatible with all Oni of the Rim race mods.
- Revenant Talon raids disabled in Lite
-Oni spawn less frequently across all vanilla factions (Including players as starter pawns).
-Revenant Talons hidden faction now active as a Tribal type raiders. Upcoming add-on mod for upgrading to spacer version of this faction may not be compatible with Lite.
-New caravan trader from Oni faction: Oni Speciality trader.
Although no Oni items in this mod, they are different from main mod with their stock as the following: Some raw food, insect meat, few devilstrand, some random textiles, herbal meds, weapons, maybe few Fighter or Exotic tagged animal (Thrumbo?!), maybe any single type of fertilized egg at expensive price. Rarely random artifacts.
What it buys (Including what they sell, they'll buy it anyway): Any raw food, plant matter, medicines, art, drugs, survival meals, kibble, hay, ANY kinds of vanilla tagged animals.
Basically a different form of Bulk trader, main difference is they don't buy apparels.
