I didn’t like that everyone was attacking them, ruining my reputation. It seems that this is the point of the mod, after all, these are bandits. There is a beginning in the game where everyone hates you. This mod is quite compatible with such a beginning.

Who attacks you? When do they attack you? After you recruited them? What did you do before they attacked you?

The recruit anyone mod is exactly like recruitable prisoners but without all the hassle. With recruit anyone you can put them in a cage and you have three options either they join you right away without any dialoge or they join you but you can customize their appearance and the last option is to increase the relations with the prisoners faction. I haven't had the time to test the mods and the different loading orders but i will when i have the time.

Thank you for the heads up sir! Does recruit anyone add them to your squad like Recruitable Prisoners or does it make them your allies like my mod? I‘ve only ran Recruitable Prisoners with it until now and not experienced any issues.

I think i just came across a compability issue with your mod and another mod called "recruit anyone" when you put someone in a cage you can't talk to them no more with your mod with recruit anyone you were supposed to talk to them while imprisoned but now that does not work i will test it again with different loading orders and then maybe report back.

I've been playing this mod for 2 weeks, I now have a group of 12 hungry bandits in the 40s(kinda started with a 100...), it works perfectly, is very fun and is highly underated, it has low CPU demands and adds a whole new part/concept to the game. With time this mod will be considered a must have, fantastic idea, competent execution. GOOD MOD

i so love this mod, this gives me the idea of doing a pacifist run, letting all the hired bandits doing the fighting for me, and escorting me everywhere (which im currently starting)

what do we do when they are hungry lol how do we feed them xd! do they have infinit starve, do they have to eat or can we just keep them as a bodyguard all we want? o;

No problem, that was a splendid suggestion! The need for food is sadly not possible, but it is possible to force payments after some time.

Would be nice, if they need food after the recruiting, but I think the game engine does not support this. Falls Du auf Deutsch schreiben willst, ich schicke mal eine Anfrage.

Added your suggestion. But you need to have bread and dried meat. Just to make it a tiny little bit more difficult since the 2000 cats recruiting fee is rather high.

The actual AI goal I give them is "Looting corpses and food". Additionally their bodyguard job has the goal "Don't be unarmed" if that helps you somehow. How far they go? I am sorry, but I don't know. Still too new^^

One more question: Is it possible to recruit starving bandits (hungrige Banditen) with bred or other food instead of money or pressure ?

Looting means they get everything out of their victims or only valuable or useful items ?
I think equipping means, when the slot of a picked items is unused, they will equip it.

Hi! They should pick up weapons if they are unequipped. Haven‘t tested that to full extend though. I‘ll try that later. However you can always change their equipment by picking them up and looting them. Using a surgeon is sadly impossible since the changing character needs to do all the talking. This mod gives you control of them through the merc Job, you don‘t geht individual control over single bandits, therefore they cannot change their looks. But worry not my friend, I‘ll make more bandit types recruitable.

When they loot enemies, do they equip items ?
Is it possible to use a surgeon on them ? (i think it's not, but would be nice)

So after a little bit of messing around, I can say that they won't despawn if you leave one of your characters with them at your base. The zones should be no problem, homeless spawns can stray pretty far from their original locations. (wandering assassin for example). And about numbers: I collected multiple squads and had over 100 bandits with no performance issues. With 100 pawns my framerate usually drops noticeable.

good to know, I assume they are treated like regular npcs, i.e. despawn when out of sight/in another zone.

following that rule, they could despawn even when in company of a regular bandmember when they reach another zone than the zone they spawned in. That's worth checking, if they do not, what you report is just a minor issue.

Watch out, they will despawn if you send them to defend your base and you are too far away.

They do! I assume it will be better than usual, but performance issues are impossible to remove. Kenshi apparently only uses 1 core of your CPU, which is a mayor problem. Try to turn down your settings, especially shadows. And if you haven‘t tried yet, there are a lot of mods out there, which try to improve performance. Good luck and maybe you will achieve an army that even the Holy Nation cannot match. :)
