wanted to see if this can be brought back from the dead, it's a good concept for land tanks and ect, even a armored base against annoying drone npcs

Looks like you have an extra mountpoint on the TOP face that shouldn't be there. Makes for some silly floating blocks and also counts as an airtight face. An easy fix though.

does this just have high integrity or actually have anti-penetration properties (as in, does it just take so much damage that the projectile cant get break it, or does it prevent the projectile from getting behind it another way)

I am sure it is another block (1x1 in size) that looses its plates when damaged, so it basically behaves like reactive armor.
Not quite sure how much dmg in can soak. The gifs suggest something like 3-5 times the amount of a normal (light) block.

Great news! Yep, but based on real life tank cupolas, and the wide angle camera mod that looks like a cupola, I think made by AWG. But the idea for the hatch was a mix of several different mods on here. :)

Do you think you might be able to make a tank commander's hatch with small slotted windows in, so it can be used as a cupola?

Any plans on making full block size versions? Seems a bit tedious to build your ship or station then go back over it with these blocks. Not hating just would rather spend less time on builds. :)

@Normon Well with the way the game engine works, I don’t really believe there is any actual way to make the reactive armor behave as in real life sadly, I wish it could. So it’s pretty much a half block with custom textures, shapes, sounds and FX with properties that completely degrade and stop whatever hit it. But if you hit it with something insanely overpowered, then idk if it’ll stop as well loool. But that’s the good thing about everybody who subscribes. If I need to tweak things based off of “community feedback” I will do it accordingly 😁

I am curious, does it just function as a layer of armor basically, or is it somewhat like actual reactive armor? Where it's most effective against heavy ordnance, and using a machine gun would obliterate it the same as a heavy cannon, effectively nullifying the protection.

I also tweaked around with the blocks damage multipliers so it would be more accurate when stopping projectiles.

@woostyboy Well I added some effects so that when it’s hit it explodes and has the noise that comes with it. I have some interesting .gifs but can’t figure out how to post them in the description if this mod to show everybody.
