Pastras - Reactive Armor (Obsolete / Discontinued)

Description
This is some reactive armor that I
created, works well when repelling enemy fire.

No matter if its AI or another player.
There are small and large grid versions.
I will be adding more block variations in the future.

It has 3 construction models that blend well
when welding the panels.

Hope you enjoy! 😁

Below is an example of the penetration difference and the construction phases. ↓↓↓

This is my work and these are my models.

DO NOT just take them and say they are yours.

If you want to use them for your own benefit.

wanted to see if this can be brought back from the dead, it's a good concept for land tanks and ect, even a armored base against annoying drone npcs

Bit late to the notification, but are there any similar mods that aren't obsolete yet?
Or is this another mod that bites the dust?

@LordBUM, I have taken a break from modding space engineers. But i'm thinking about getting back into it. If i do, that'll be my first assignment.

would be nice if i could put these on armor slopes

Looks like you have an extra mountpoint on the TOP face that shouldn't be there. Makes for some silly floating blocks and also counts as an airtight face. An easy fix though.

does this just have high integrity or actually have anti-penetration properties (as in, does it just take so much damage that the projectile cant get break it, or does it prevent the projectile from getting behind it another way)

I am sure it is another block (1x1 in size) that looses its plates when damaged, so it basically behaves like reactive armor.
Not quite sure how much dmg in can soak. The gifs suggest something like 3-5 times the amount of a normal (light) block.
