And yea, load order wont change original game files back, so that was worded poorly.
My current theory is the unaltered game files are some how activating or changing these two items, which is just changing a trigger but I am not sure what item it needs to be changed in.
If I cant find that, then a really janky fix would be making a new research item that is not attached to anything but required by all empties, in theory, this hsould deactivate all empties from the research list.
These are old training research items that were removed and replaced with all the new research this mod has. These Empties are probably the reason this mod fits with other mods like Weight bench as they all aim to edit or delete old research items.
I actually just started playing Kenshi again and have a few ideas to correct the Empties that are being seen and will push a fix after its been thoroughly tested.
Thank you all for your dedication to making this content better, please let me know if anyone has run into any other issues.
So yeah, "Empty X" = Cannot research
Step 1, research the Shoddy Trainings under training research (There's 3 of them)
Step 2, Under CRAFTING in the build menu there's a Training workbench, make that
Step 3, Craft a Training Tools Research Book at the workbench
Step 4, Research Training Tools crafting under training research
All done for the shoddy level from here, to get higher level training dummies you need to find the next level Blueprints in shops (I find them in general and tech shops usually), unlock and research the level, and manufacture the dummies. There are a lot of materials involved in just the basic level itself so be prepared to put in some work to earn your training.
Mods broken include fun crossbows, dexterity dolls, and weight training mods. I can recommend three solutions: Either add stat training to your existing mod (since you have all skills covered anyway), provide links to stand-alone stat training mods that are compatible with your mod, or don't remove vanilla researches from your mod.
Obviously, your mod is a free service and changing it would be a huge hassle, but please at least update your disclaimer to clearly state that vanilla-dependent training mods are broken - EVEN if they are put last in the load order.
i aparently was lacking the 2nd tier blueprints; dough i had electronic lol so i was spooked
and i really dont know where to check or what to do next after researching the blueprints since i cant build em
some problem with the game, or other mods or?
i already went to Black desert city, the black scratch, mongrel, worlds end, shark, ancient labs...
where can i find the advanced or the electronic blueprints? My game reach the level where i don't need to even train, is that the goal of the "Progressive" gameplay?
I have not went to any HN city, they wont talk to me :(
If you didnt do the research for the training tools then even if you have the blueprints it wont show up.
If you have done that research, and have gotten all the other training levels it should be there.
Maybe what is happening is that you did the shoddy research, but you are trying to jump to advanced or electronic. You have to do them in order.
You have to have shoddy for basic, basic for standard, standard for advanced, and advanced for electronic. They have to be researched in order.
