i was upgrading my space stations the entire time during a skirmish and upgraded to tarkiin doctrine and couldnt build anything more then a arquitens and the rebels are alr over here witha fleet of like a kajillion assaulting me

The Holdout Factions sub mod allows you to play as CIS and Republic factions. I'm runnuing it with this 4 version. Not sure if the submod would work with 5, as there are many differences. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2794270450

4.0 is actually unplayable. I had to abandon my campaign that I already spent numerous hours on. I highly recommend using this mod for SKIRMISH BATTLES ONLY, I strongly advise NOBODY to play the campaign until the stability issues are addressed.

Mods were not working - some players found ways to make mods work through using MODPATH and FoC Options>Mods - thanks for that, but FoC options only allows to select 1 mod at each time. Since submods needs the parent mod to work .. How do we make submods to work again?

I was playing this mod just early today and all was ok (set/23), and a few hours later the game won't to launch any mod. Now it just launches Forces of Corruption plain and simple. I had a Steam client update today, other than that.. no changes in any options.

ISD 2s broken wont target some ships/aall space stations. when u click on a target it will just move itself to a stupid position and not fire at all

Real shame the mod team has been disbanded if that's true. Mod would be truly perfect if that one lame, unavoidable game breaking freeze after a exact specific amount of play time was fixed.

im not sure why, but i cannot move past month 281 in my game. i have a save at month 279, but for whatever reason it will crash to desktop on the 4th tick of month 281 without fail.

Great mod - but seems to frequent crashes and become unstable in the late game. Usually as early as month 120, as late as month 170. And its a much slower burn compared to other mods.

Yes, I do make unique saves every time. No I don't save while paused.
To be fair - could be because I like to build an overwhelming force before rolling in possibly.
Su**s too slow game. Why you cant do mod so cool how ACM2.4???

@Wargamer Not really I gave my feedback and moved on to a better balanced mod. The only downside is that I think this mod has the best looking models. If you however want to enjoy starfighter and bomber spam simulator than by all means. I prefer building balanced fleets which is what you are supposed to do. Maybe instead tell me what exactly is incorrect with my issue? Instead of mindlessly typing "x d mad" what about instead trying to refute what I said?

Nice bug with a station having 0% on its comms array and not dying, auto resolve just kills my fleet but doesn't end the battle.

I agree that balance is a little wack, but not completely broken as Durandy says. Get the Clone Wars Holdout Faction Submod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2794270450&tscn=1755275650 and The French Fried Taters Patch https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3229239424 to make it better. I use both, and space battles are a lot more manageable now. Not too easier, just more manageable.

No its trash. I built for a balanced approach. I built capitals, cruisers, anti-starfighter frigates, carriers, and extra fighters(TIE Avengers) with Vader as a fighter ace. I literally listed my force out and it lost out to the enemy garrison I listed because their Old Republic fighters somehow outmatched me. Bombers instajib small ships like frigates so even though I had lancers between my ISDs they just got blown up in 1 or 2 bombing runs from Y-Wings. And once you lose your fighters before the enemy? You just lose. That's just bad. And that was just the final straw. Like I said the mod is very pretty but I'd rather play something more balanced than this.

Not to say that the balance is excellent, there are some issues but complete trash, man chill.

Yes bomber are strong but EASILY swayed with you prepare a decently sized fighter force to screen your capital ships.Capital ships bring a lot to the table in terms of firepower they are a great time gain for battle and a moderate investment.

Game balance is complete trash. Bombers are horrifically overpowered. Capital ships are pointless just build carriers and starfighters if you want to accomplish anything in fleet battles. Built a balanced Fleet with 2 ISD2s, 1 ISD 1, 2 Venators, a Ton Falk, multiple Lancer frigates(you know the supposed anti-starfighter ones, 5 individual TIE Avengers, Vader, Vigils, Ion Prosecutor. Literally gets smashed by a 1 starbase, 1 golan 1, and 1 Venator because you simply can't compete with their starfighters. What even is this? Whats even the point of building capital ships unless they just have tons of starfighters and bombers? And whats the point of Imperial Starfighters and bombers? They get smashed by old Republic models. In what world do Z-95s smash TIE Avengers? Mods have great looking models and I am impressed with the general variety but man the balance is just oof.
