I may try a low-poly city eventually that would be usable by almost all PCs. But right now I'm kinda working on the opposite :)
I'll likely fill in the empty city blocks but I'm not too sure what I should do after that.
There are two other Easter Eggs somewhere on the map. See if you can find em ;)
If it's a map you made yourself, then go to the main menu, click the "Map" button, then click the little "+" symbol in the window that pops up. Select the folder that your map is in, and that should add it to your map list. It should show up in the map list as "Testing: MapName".
Hope that helps!
I'll do a full sweep and re-do all the races when the map is complete.
As for that race, is that May Highway (top/left side of map) or Hammond Highway (right side of map)? I know May Highway had a bunch of lag around corner 26(IIRC) and made it impossible to set new laps, so I had to completely re-make the race. I think Hammond Highway should have all the laps set so far (12 or so?) but few of the recorded laps still follow the actual road due to the bug listed above.
Also been trying to find a good set of rules that allow pretty much any car to compete. Let me know if you have any suggestions on that front!
Of course feel free to save the tracks and make a new race with rules that better suit your car. :)
Making maps can be difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes relatively quick. If you've got the drive (no pun intended) to make something, then it can turn into quite a fun project :)
1/10 max
As for Easter Eggs, I've got one or two in mind but haven't put 'em in yet ;)
So far I've spent about three weeks on this. I imagine at least three more weeks before I consider it "finished". :)
