Cheers Wolfen! Yeah I made this to have an easier time combining melee and ranged on saves "close to vanilla". I love the simple sidearms mod, but it's quite a bit more upkeep. So it's nice to have the option to not having to deal with combat pawn groups.

@Gotcha! Probably not going to tinker with that as it would be such a huge undertaking and beyond my skill level at this point. It's a cool idea, but it is not this mod. :)

If I could make a suggestion. I don't know if this is possible, but it would be really cool if instead of the bolt action rifle having a bayonet, you could make an apparel/gear item that would increase melee damage. That way it could work not with just all the other vanilla guns, but with modded ones too.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it more, there probably would need to be some sort of check to see if the pawn has a melee weapon equipped, so that you couldn't just cheese it with extra damage for nothing. A spear with a bayonet seems kind of redundant...

@Diamond Appendix - I've done initial prep work for updating all my mods to 1.3 but I'll have to test them with the actual release of 1.3 before uploading. Prob be within the week.

@Tweetus - I'm not going to modify content from different modders in this one.

@Medic Olkie - Not going to modify a different modders weapon but I might do the vanilla Assault rifle some day.

@White Spider, I'd like to but right now I'm constrained to the vanilla max length of weapons (total length). It's possible to use jecstools to get around this, but I'm not that high lvl modder yet. :P

@Everyone else, no it is not CE compatible yet. I'll post an update whenever I get around to that. :)

Deyon: There is a base max size to all weapons in the game, and the original rifle takes up all of that size. To add the bayonet I had to scale the gun down by 10% to make room for the bayonet. It is unfortunate, but I couldn't find a workaround. Maybe do as blake suggests and fix it by even more mods? :)
