You should definitely specify which mods/dlc(s) you used to make this. Projected this in vanilla, with style, and frostbite dlc and the entire internal cockpit layout was missing

maybe, but building in SG blocks also makes the armor extremely thin, and i hate the massive amounts of thrusters i'd have to attach to make it work. it's just unrealistic.

honestly i doubt i'd ever remake it, though. if anything i'd just make smaller ships with less firepower but that can ultimately do the job better due to their better maneuverability and smaller hitbox. ultimately, though, i'm drifting away from SE for Starship EVO these days

Commissar, I would recommend rebuilding in Small Ship blocks. Rotors have a unusual affect of ships as if any on the interior with large grids to small, causing them to stray in a direction. To be honest, with the latest update, gonna see less of these types of builds and ones of remakes in the small ship parts.

no, it works on earth. i build all my atmospheric craft on earth-likes, i just advertise them later on Mars.

For some reason it seems I can't roll at all with the ship. I modified it as a stealth/recon space version, got rid of all the connected parts that could alter the physics of the ship, and nothing would make her roll. It can yaw, pitch, pull but not roll. Any idea?

@rvladben the slowness is mostly due to inertial sharing. you can turn it off with 4 (see the description above) to get better response, it's just going to mess you up while idling and be overall less stable

overall great design and excellent programming , but it is slow to react to my controls especially if i need an emergency stop or to evade enemies or objects like meteors during storms. other than that i have no complaints.

it's mostly based on timers, but as for script, look for "program - decoy launcher" in the ship. This script will automatically find timer blocks and trigger them. You specify the name of the timer block by running it with the name as the argument.

@dom_dom tbh i'm not happy with the designations of this craft myself, but the fact is that it's not an easy one to classify. there's no weaponized craft like this irl, so i can't compare it to that, and it's too small for designations like frigate or so on. I'm mostly just trying to communicate that it has lots of guns, is a high-altitude AA platform, and, in-lore (since SE has no such mechanic) it would be used in EW to further support aerial operations.

@[WTFH] ragnar_greymane in my experience, i've had no problems with the turrets. i've also used the same model turrets on other craft, before many of the more recent stability updates, and they've worked fine. the pistons are the only problem, which is why they are by default set to share the inertial tensor

Gunships are not air superiority aircraft. too large too slow and can be out turned by air superiority fighters. Sure you have five deadly turrets, but that means jack shit to a formation of fighters, btw I'm telling you this as someone in the air force. Your ship is as venerable, when alone, as ww2 bombers where

Its stuck when i spawn it.... I cant fly it ... Im in the seat and got control over VTOL etc but cant steer or thrust

I'm never going to guarantee your safety when using mods. But in the vanilla world, i never experienced breaking. Only it sounds like it will.

The machine spirit of this vehicle sounds very angry, but rest assured. Aside from its violent noises and protests, everything has been stress tested and you are 99.9% unlikely to break apart in mid-air.

I hear only breaking rotors sound and something is always exploding when I fly 400 m/s.
