It has the vanilla 5x5 wheels - but there have been changes to the wheel hitboxes since I made it, so you may find that some of the armour blocks now get in the way, where they didn't used to.
Far as I know, the new hitboxes don't affect normal operation of the wheels once they're in place - say if you paste the vehicle in using creative tools.
The problems are only when you build it in survival mode & are unable to place or add the wheels.

I don't know if this is something that Keen plans to fix later or if this is just the way it is now - but for my part there's nothing I can do, as my graphics card blew up and, for now at least, I don't have a PC capable of playing the game.

If you're building in Survival mode, you can try removing some of the surrounding armour blocks, though I can't guarantee it'll work.

Thanks @Yulyeong! Always gratifying to hear when people like my descriptions!
I'm not sure how I come up with them either to be honest. I just like playing with words. Glad you enjoyed it anyhow! :steamhappy:

I don't know how you come with all these descriptions but I love it so much :')

@Mojo... Regrettably I haven't. I only ever play closed SP, so don't really have any good way to test combat builds against anything that resembles intelligent opponents. Hence I don't tend to do many combat builds. When I do, I pretty much rely on my subbers to tell me if I'm getting it right or wrong... so I'm grateful for any & all input.

I'm aware that Keen have nerfed armour something ridiculous. Heavy armour is now no better than light. It's a pointless tweak for tweaking's sake if you ask me. There was nothing wrong with what we had before. No idea why they thought it needed changing.

I guess it's possible there's some surprise coming in the update that'll make sense of it - can't think what but you never know. They did say there are some surprises.
Either way I think there'll be a lot of complaints about the nerf. Wouldn't surprise me if it gets un-nerfed after not long.

Have you battle tested it? Unless something happened recently armor blocks hit a piece of grass and they are trashed..lol, they are pretty weak.
Not knocking your build at all just taking a jab at Keen and how armor blocks are no where near as tough as they used to be. :)

You could also use the floodlights for Morse code!

Thanks very much @OshujE! Writing these descriptions is half of the fun for me! May you elicit many long hours of pleasure from your new V.A.G! :steamhappy:
OshujE 24 Feb, 2019 @ 5:55pm
Probably the funniest description I've seen, Ill definitely be using this V.A.G.
cptsavarus  [author] 24 Feb, 2019 @ 3:30pm
Haha! Alas though, modern medicine cannot outpace my ability to come up with the next dirty acronym! You'll just be coming round when BAM - the next one hits - and you're done for! :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
Leo_Draconus 24 Feb, 2019 @ 3:16pm
If your mind is dirty enough, you will laugh yourself to death reading the description. It's okay, modern medicine can revive you if they're fast enough.

@Jockattock... Thanks very much! Have no fear though - when the survival update rolls out I'll be publishing revised versions of my ground vehicles / bases with Hydrogen Engines in place of Reactors.
I designed these T6 series trucks specifically with a view to being refitted with Hydrogen Engines. Just have to swap a few blocks out & jobs a goodun!

@soup... 5 it is! :steamhappy:
Yeah, these T6 trucks are surprisingly capable on steep slopes & harsh terrain. Also quite hard to tip / roll. The lower "glacis plate" can sometimes get trashed when exiting a steep slope / nose-diving into a divot but hell, it's basically a tank so a bit of cosmetic damage just adds character!
Take her through some rough stuff & let me know how you find it. She *can* get stuck but most times there's a way out if you wriggle a bit!
Soop 22 Feb, 2019 @ 1:46pm
the first screenshot i see is this thing going down a damn near vertical slope... sold ill take five

Nice work, but I hope the person knows that they need a large supply of uranium and platinum when using it. Because from the next update uranium will no longer spawn on planets.
