If you zoom out, the animals are highlighted, but the minimap itself is gone. I tried changing the settings, but it didn't help. RImhud also stopped working.

Wierdly, most of my UI (not the buttons in bottom right, but the side bars and bottom bars are gone) also just vanished. Been using this mod on that save for awhile now. (was on a sky island tho)

The Fecal Sludge to Chemfuel ratio needs to be toned down IMHO. Is there a setting I can change for that? That conversion rate is too OP based on the amount of Sludge created.

i dont know what one of my mods updated in recent weeks but not its causing my minimap and bottom tabs to disappear, and reappearing when minimap mod is removed. Here is the error log: https://pastebin.com/vX31jCtG

That's not a problem with this mod. Delete all the .dds textures in your entire mods folder, and then verify the game files with steam.

The recent Rimworld update seems to put some red Xs and squares over the minimap animals/people. This can be mostly resolved by turning off predators and clicking the red squares in the "settings" option of the minimap window and under the "marker" category, change the red squared icons by clicking them once each.

Hi, is there any solutions for the white background thing?
Every time you switch to another map , the background color of the minimap becomes white, it's not a super duper big issue but it can be annoying sometimes, to always switch back to fogged

I think someone has already reported this, but it seems that it is not compatible with “MultiFloors.”
When moving from the base floor to another floor, the mini-map display becomes distorted.

My map doesn't seem to really update at all when i'm building and such like even tho i built a large house in the middle of the map it doesn't show up on the mini map unless i Reload the World, or flick on between real terrain color, not sure what is causing that issue, cause i never done this back on 1.5 and its not showing any errors in dev mode, so honestly kinda stumped as to what is causing it.

I am using the (NWN) Real Fog of War mod. Is there a way or a setting which would hide Enemies on the minimap when they are in the fog of war (not within colonist visibility range)?

Looking at the recent updates, there hasn't been one since 11. Juli.
Therefore, you haven't changed anything.

So it must have happened due to another update, or even an update to the core game.
(All my mods were automatically checked for errors and re-downloaded, which messed up my manually entered version clearance.)

Whatever caused it, your mod is working again! :)

Even likely, I would say.
Look here. I parked my ship in a different place, and the rendering stopped again about seven tiles above the Grav engine. This is unlikely to be a coincidence.

I hope this helps you to track down the bug.

Could it be related to the *gravship* rather than space?

I've just used my shuttle to mine some plasteel on a different world tile.
There the map was rendered just fine.
Back on the gravship's tile, the map was broken again.

ah, if you're switching between maps maybe its not refreshing all of the sections of the map each time, also im aware of the white terrain bug but only in space

Hi Dubwise,
there seems to be an issue with my mini map.

Initially, the terrain is rendered completely white; everything else is fine.
The workaround is to switch 'Real Terrain Colour' off and on again.
This results in a map where the terrain is rendered black, which is less obstructive, and then, after a while, the bottom half of the map regenerates as desired.
The upper half never regains the terrain colours, though.

oh forgot some details on that bug report. im playing 1.6 with all DLC except anomaly. i do have rimhud installed.

hey i been getting a bug where my ui will not load due to this mod. sometimes im able to get it to work by loading a different save then coming back to the one im trying to play. if i do this though the minimap is bugged. showing a chunk of the map from the other save.

Hi Dubwise, thank you for the great mod. The only problem I have is that minimap doesn't work great with unusual (not square) map sizes (for example with Better Map Sizes mod). It doesn't draw the whole map. Could you please check it? Thanks

Works mostly fine for me now, but for 2 things. No map on space maps and i've done this both with a shuttle and land base while exploring, and a the ship itself on the space map. And when i loaded a game that was on an asteroid the ui was borked, couldn't open a menu at all except the esc menu. Otherwise, no issues. Disabling the mod fixed the menu issue, was surprised it caused it. Still using it, needs to be base game for sure.

The map mostly works fine for me with Odyssey, except that it doesn't display Mech clusters at all where normally they'd be red dots as enemies.

@vitaKaninen do you mean just delete the config files from \AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config? I have done so and removed all mods and there are no errors. I enable minimap and 2 errors show up and the tooltip issue comes back.

I had that same thing happen, but it was due to outdated config files, specifically from RimHud. Try clearing out your outdated config files from 1.5.

FYI with this mod enabled, all the tooltips get stuck on screen when hovering over things like Rename or any of the debug icons.
