@4ra - thanks, very kind of you to say that. Phase 10 is out in a few days and is huge for the story, hope it lives up to the expectations!

@Robin149 - yes this campaign should be finished by mid-March. Hopefully soon after the official campaign will be released so I can take a break and enjoy playing maps instead of making them! After the official campaign there should also be loads of new assests in the editor so I can upgrade all the maps (I also want to translate them to Chinese) and maybe make a few one off side missions. And who knows maybe another campaign :)

You will finish it by the mid of march? Are you planning to keep up the upload cadence? That would be more then awesome, to say the least.

@Alexdggb - I might take you up on the translation offer. It will be quite a lot of work as there is a lot of text, but I would put you in the Created By list for the Chinese maps. It's not something I'm looking to do until I've finished the campaign which will be by mid-March.

As a general update on map 5, this map is going to be overhauled soon. Due to a new setting introduced into the editor I can now set it so you can't take buildings. This means you can explore the whole island without causing havoc and it will also make the big "reveal" easier to handle for the player. I'll probably re-release this map once the new map styles are released as one of the new styles looks more suitable for what I wanted.

alexdggb - thanks for the translation, still a lot to do tho! As for the difficulty name at least I didn't opt for Tutorial difficulty. I watched a friend play who has never won any survival game and he did this map first try! ;P

It looks like there is an update coming to the editor which should mean I can change buildings to "independent" which means the player cannot control them. This means I can ditch the iron fencing and you can explore the city much more, plus it will make what happens during the map more natural and easier. How it is at the moment is the only way I can do it after much testing.

This will be quite a large change (there are 100's of entities to change) but I will post here if I get to do that :)

You cannot fight the horde, but it should be possible for you to get everyone forward. Before you reach the 2nd sniper, make sure Ava and McCauley (Ranger and Sniper) are together when the horde triggers. As soon as the conversation ends select them all and move them forward and keep going - do not attempt to fight any. You can lose McKenzie and not fail the map, so you can use him as well as the buildings to distract the infected.

If for some reason you still cannot do it then your game must be bugged as I've seen a number of people do it 1st or 2nd try. If you could upload any footage that would help me see what's wrong. Thanks again./spoiler]

Love the series so much, good work. Am I missing something on this one? When the infected come when meeting the sniper, there doesn't seem to be any way on Earth that 2 snipers and a ranger could take them all out

This is somehow not completeable, no matter what dialogue you choose with the second sniper that you find. Everyone gets infected asap and they rush towrads you. There is no other way than retreating cause when you move forward the infected will just slaughter you.

The campaign title is click bait to be fair. But I love the original 28 Days Later and the next 2 phases are set in Desolate Wasteland as there were fires in the area but no-one was left to put them out (a nod to the film).

@Moorsey - the story isn't based on the films. If you read the intro text it says "28 years have passed since a phenomenon known as the The Tempest engulfed the world."

Im sorry but if this is based on 28 days later and 28 months later only mainland UK was affected why is ireland shown up as red???
