I've not played this for quite a long while and have a new pc minus notes, plans and mod files I had from before, I lost a lot of other stuff too :(
I realistically can't spend the time I did before learning and finding things again as I'm studying at uni and working...and occasionally sleeping.
The whole sketchy paid patch thing the devs have planned this version will be obsolete in the near future and from my understanding of the steam workshop none of these mods will be transferable as the devs are removing this game from the store and adding a new one, breaking the workshop a bit...I won't be getting the new version anytime soon if at all so no idea what'll happen to my mods then.
I've just checked and they show up like the screenshots.
Glad they're working, although a bit worrying nobody else mentioned it before!?!?
it still works amazing
It looks like I left in some code for the water storage, I've removed it and I think that'll fix the issue (it shouldn't have any alternate versions to swap/get confused with, leaving just the model in the screenshots)
I always try to upload to both, it's literally one button for steam one for paradox mods, but the paradox mods has some quirks stopping some of my mods uploading/updating properly. Use steam for my mods for now until paradox give a decent reply for solutions or there's a clear list of specs for what their mod site requires...
What do I need to do?
many many many thanks
I'll make custom build menu icons and add these to a sub menu for convenience and to prevent clutter. I'll also sort out the upgrade icons too.
I'll also have a look and customise the looks a bit more as well.
Liquid can be compressed however it takes more energy compared to gas.
It's about the molecules, liquids aren't as compact as solids so there is room for compression.
Hydraulics use oil because they are thicker, closer to solids in a way.
The upgrades for the water building focus on increasing capacity and removing dirt, dust and metals to allow for better compression.
Hope this clarifies the thinking behind this mod ☺
I used the artificial sun building for a few reasons:
>> the size of the building, felt it had to be a big building for the total capicity
>> the look of the building, all the pipes and tubes fits the storage theme
>> the artificial sun is the end product, these buildings test the different needs in preparation for it (storaes water, handles power)
