Hey Sunny and thanks for all the feedback. The difficulty will be going up through the campaign but it's good to know how people are finding it now. Really I need 3 versions of each map (easy, medium, hard) or hopefully the ability to have 1 map with difficulty options (like survival). Currently I see Phase 3X and 4X as 'medium' with maps 8X onwards being 'hard'.

It's 58 days similar to how the final wave on an 80 day survival map starts on day 72 - those who are struggling with a map won't finish the final wave in 3 days - I've seen some take 5-6 days on the final wave and I'd hate to end the map too soon during an epic fall-back style defence. I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem if you killed the wave earlier than that as the victory screen comes up when all infected are eliminated?

Hey POB,

Nice map! Some pro's and con's:
1) Great story and good use of triggers and mechanics
2) Great map, nicely made
3) Overal a lot of fun and you got me involved.
------
1) Not that hard. I finished it first try and I am not hardcore at all. I usually am able to complete the weekly challenges, but never have a score anywhere near anyone in the top 100 :)
2) Giant got stuck and therefore easy to kill. Not your fault, game mechanics, but it does mean that overal a single gian here or there does not much to increase difficulty.
3) Why 58 days? The final wave was done and killed by day 52.

Overal though many kudos on making this a nice map and I'm sure you can't wait to 'string' your campaign together with new upcoming editor tools.

The local events such as finding a food/supply stash is triggered by your units when they walk over either dead bodies in a square or within 1-2 grid cells of a truck. There are 10 fixed reinforcements/supply pop-ups and 3 from Dog - these all happen on fixed days :)

I noticed that you have to be kind of "exactly" in the spot to get the benefit for example in the north the secret stash or in the east next to that car to get couple in the truck.

@Sirsick - hope you enjoy the challenge. Thanks for letting me know about the scripted stuff. Just saw the map played live and the map script worked but others have said it doesn't so custom variables might be bugged :(

Thanks! All will have X versions except for the Hero maps and they will all get a little harder as the campaign goes on :steamhappy:
