You're welcome, glad I could make the game more fun for you while it lasted!

Thank you for your work during the time of need then! :)

KR 0.16 REVERTS MANPOWER/EQUIPMENT VALUES TO VANILLA LEVELS!
https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaiserreich/comments/kywh2u/kaiserreich_016_hindsight_is_2020/
As stated in the second bullet point: Manpower and equipment values for battalions have been reverted to vanilla values, and as such are no longer inflated by 50%.

This effectively means that this mod is obsolete! I'll still keep it around for anyone that enjoy playing older versions of KR with it, but I'll no longer need to maintain it. Thanks to everyone that supported it and provided feedback over the years!

Okay thank you!

It hasn't been updated yet, but it should still work with KR0.14.2A since the patch notes said that they didn't do anything with the units and no one reported any issues so far. Either way, a full update will probably drop for 0.15 when that drops.

Hello, i love this mod but it is unknown of working with either the latest 1.10 kaiserreich or kaiserredux curent version or fine. :)
Rei  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 9:54am
@Buffalo: I don't really able to maintain more mods than I already do, sorry. You can easily do one of your own though. All the unit data files in Kaiserreich can be found by searching for "1521695605" in your Steamapps folder to find KR, and then go un under "common\units" and open up whatever relevant infantry files and such and edit the equipment requirements by using the ones in the base HOI4 folder as a reference. You can also create your own mod using the mod tools in the launcher, copying over the relevant unit files to that mod folder generated with them, modify them to resemble the vanilla ones as much as you see fit, and then add this line to your .mod file:
dependencies={
"Kaiserreich"
}
That'll set it up so that your homebrewed mod takes priority over Kaiserreich, allowing you to have whatever changes to their unit files that you want.

Sorry that I can't really make and maintain more mods atm, but hopefully this'll help you tweak it yourself! Good luck!

Hi, thanks for your mod, possible to have one mod for fix the equipment cost that is upgrade to 50% too?
Rei  [author] 10 Jun, 2020 @ 6:51am
Updated the mod to account for adjustments made in HOI41.9.3 and KR0.12.2, please report any eventual bugs you find to me. Thank you!

HOI4 and KR updated today!
https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaiserreich/comments/gwst0a/hotfix_0122_is_out/
Things are a bit busy on my end right now, but I'll try to have a patch out either this weekend or sometime early next week that'll account for all changes in both vanilla and KR so that the unit stats aren't outdated.
Rei  [author] 4 May, 2020 @ 3:51pm
@Grif109: It's been updated to run with 1.9+ and takes into account all changes added in KR after it was updated to this version. If your launcher says that it's for V1.8.* or earlier, your launcher broke and is refusing to update the mod properly. This is sadly a problem that's been common since Paradox released it last autumn and there's very little I can do about it if that's the case.
GriffMeister 4 May, 2020 @ 3:20pm
It still needs to be updated
Rei  [author] 20 Mar, 2020 @ 3:42am
THE MOD HAS BEEN UPDATED! If it shows up in your list as only working with 1.8 the launcher's scamming you. There are still known bugs in it that can cause it to fail to update mods properly and that's something that affects all mods in the HOI4 workship. The fastest way to fix it seems to be to unsub and resub while the launcher is open. It's a Paradox bug and I can't do much more about it, sorry!

@infiniminer: Updated the mod. I checked the support companies. The only speed changes present were the ones present in vanilla (horse recon etc) and they're identical to the values in KR.
@diabolus.dragon.king: It works now!
Rei  [author] 17 Mar, 2020 @ 9:59am
@infiniminer: As far as I'm aware none of the files dealing with brigade sizes affect the speed of divisions in any way since they were originally just copied from Kaiserreich itself with the manpower cost values reduced to vanilla values. What you're experiencing may be an issue with the fact that the mod isn't updated to 1.9 or there being some mod conflict on your end. Either way, you shouldn't be using this mod at the moment since I've been too busy until yesterday's KR update to update this mod. I'll leave an update here when I update it, so if you're subscribed to this threat you should be notified of it.
super earths best dumpster diver 17 Mar, 2020 @ 8:01am
This mod sets all support company division speed to 4km/h, not sure if this was caused by conflict with other mods I have but I want to know if anyone else has had this issue.
Rei  [author] 15 Mar, 2020 @ 12:12am
@diabolus.dragon.king: Not yet, I'll update it in the days ahead. I've been very busy bug testing Kaiserreich itself (I'm a team tester) so maintaining my minor mods has fallen a bit on the wayside. Sorry for the inconvenience, but things tend to get really busy when Paradox drops a new expansion on us. :KneelingBow:
diabolus.dragon.king 14 Mar, 2020 @ 6:36pm
does it work in 1.9?
Rei  [author] 26 Nov, 2019 @ 3:33pm
You're welcome, glad I could help!
buddy266 26 Nov, 2019 @ 3:21pm
Thank god for this mod. It makes every campaign so annoying when the enemy has 3.8 mil manpower and you're sitting there with like 20k manpower on scraping the barrel. This mod fixes that.
Caporegime Clutch 22 Nov, 2019 @ 10:18pm
Thank you so much for the quick response! Good to know that this is being kept up to date! I figured I'd ask here because I noticed on the new launcher that it stated that the mod requires version 1.7. I didn't have the time tonight to compare the manpower of a specific nation with the mod enabled and disabled so I can't confirm if it does work with the new update or not. Either way, I completely understand waiting to update until all of the confusion with the new launcher is worked out. Here's to hoping that all gets worked out soon.
Rei  [author] 22 Nov, 2019 @ 9:04pm
@Caporegime Clutch I'm holding off on updating until Paaradox sorts out their stuff. KR having a several problems when they did their update spooked me a bit, so I'll wait for Paradox to patch HOI4 first. They say that a patch is coming next week, fingers crossed that it'll fix the mod issues with 1.8.
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/hoi4-dev-diary-operations.1284812/

Since 1.8 introduced no changes to land units and since KR's update didn't either this mod SHOULD still work. If you're having problems selecting it or whatever, it's a problem with the launcher that I sadly can't do anything about. Updating to 1.8 isn't a guaranteed fix for launcher issues and it can sometimes cause problems as well according to some users. Apologies for the inconvenience, but hopefully I've explained myself adequately here!

Also I'll always keep this mod up to date, so don't worry about that. The new situation with the launcher was just a bit special, that's all.
Caporegime Clutch 22 Nov, 2019 @ 8:42pm
Is this going to work on the newest versions of the game (1.8.0 and/or 1.8.1), and if not do you intend to updating it to make it compatible? Thanks!
Rei  [author] 9 Nov, 2019 @ 9:13am
@Liquid Richard: If you want that, there are other mods that should have you covered. Search for things like "anti unit spam" or any of the "casualties of war" mods, I *think* there should be mods among those that are based around increasing the manpower costs to what you're looking for. I just made this mod specifically because KR's increased manpower costs were proving a bit problematic for people on my server that enjoyed playing smaller nations, and there weren't any mods for that at the time.
Liquid Richard 9 Nov, 2019 @ 7:51am
Could you make another submod where manpower costs are doubled?
Rei  [author] 12 Aug, 2019 @ 10:43am
That'll do the trick. Happy playing!
Blizzard 12 Aug, 2019 @ 10:33am
I changed my conscription law and it started going back up, so I think it’s fixed now since I was just on volunteer only!
Rei  [author] 12 Aug, 2019 @ 1:43am
OK, I had someone on my Discord server help test it just to make sure that there weren't any differences between the public and dev builds. Everything seemed to work fine on their end. Hopefully this at least helps narrow down what's causing your issues because it's unlikely that it's this mod if no one on my server's having any issues running it. Good luck!
Rei  [author] 12 Aug, 2019 @ 1:15am
@Not Really Robert E. Lee: All this mod does is reduce the manpower cost of various unit types in Kaiserreich to vanilla values (KR has them multiplied by X1.5 by default compared to vanilla). It doesn't change the starting manpower values for any state in the game or the starting manpower reserves of any nation tag. If you're starting out with 0 manpower, it's probably because Kaiserreich often has countries - Patagonian Worker's Front to give one example - start out with lower manpower than their starting units require.
Blizzard 12 Aug, 2019 @ 12:13am
Weird, it puts my manpower at 0
Metal Izanagi 2 Jul, 2019 @ 12:32pm
Wow, didn't even realize that they'd raised the manpower cost of divisions that much. Thanks for this.
ROlivia365 1 Jul, 2019 @ 11:00am
Great mod would spam divisions again
Wartank55 13 Jun, 2019 @ 2:09pm
update pls
Rei  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:27pm
@Mephala: No, there's no need to right now. The KR team hasn't updated Kaiserreich to be compatible with MtG yet. And if you haven't updated HOI4 after MtG was released then it'll still run like normal, meaning that you can fire up the game with this mod without any problems since the units introduced in MtG aren't in Kaiserreich at this point.
Mephala 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:24pm
update please
