AFT Mod

@8-Potatoes

Yeah, i'd say so, could be a mod that's not playing nice with this one.
Do you have anything else that changes companions at all?

Try re-jigging your load order, or using LOOT/BOSS to order it for you, it might be able to spot a conflict
Shiloh 15 Jan, 2017 @ 11:25am
might be other mods causing problems

@8-potatoes

Hmm, i'm not so sure there bud, I've certainly never seen that with just my mod alone. It certainly could be, but I doubt it.
Shiloh 13 Jan, 2017 @ 3:05pm
question is this mod whats making my fallowers lie down on the ground instead of instantly dieing? Do they die after that stage ? Im kind of confused I tested them fighting Whiterun gaurds and both my fallowers just lied on the ground with health meter regening

@Ujiyasu03

You're definitely correct there, almost all mods work better on a new game, particularly any that have an effect on world spaces or stats; things that improve follower level for example need to either have a fresh save or something built in that re-loads the follower's core files in order to update their data.

Here, however, a new game isn't needed, as all this mod really does is change a flag in the followers files that dictates how the character handles death; basically it's a tick box, and is such a small change that the game doesn't need to reload anything for the follower.
Ujiyasu03 17 Nov, 2016 @ 10:12pm
I kind of think that would work best on a new game right? Followr mods that improve their level for example only work when you first enter their initial area. I might be wrong, but seems it would work better to me on a new game.

@Reaper

If I can direct your attention to the description my good sir, this is explained:

"NOTE: Followers will still kneel down and regen their health, enemies will still aggro to you when they do this and they will still get back up a few seconds later, however, with this change once your follower starts attacking again and retakes aggro they will die (or on the second "standup" or third), they WILL eventually die unless you pull the enemies away from them. I've tested this on all altered followers, enemies will use finishing moves on them, dragons will eat them, etc."
💀Drezden💀 8 Oct, 2016 @ 8:33am
doesnt work enemy still ignores follower and does not finish them off.
†LΛRΣΠ† 16 Aug, 2016 @ 3:04am

Keulron 16 Jul, 2016 @ 5:34pm
well....lydia and skjor did die to the silver hands....get me the best sword some armor and a few arrows and I will have doomed the silver hands(also have to press ` and then type in tgm)

@Fellgamer

Console commands will always work, if you're particularly cut up about the loss; personally I always just roll with the deaths of my companions and work it into whatever i'm doing, getting revenge, etc, I find that creates a lot more immersion and investment.
Keulron 15 Jul, 2016 @ 2:12am
ya that doesnt work for me I can only loot give and use dead thrall on them
Blazer  [author] 15 Jul, 2016 @ 2:09am
@Fellgamer

Rip Lydia =(

You can always bring her back, if you still have the body; the console commands resurrect and resurrect 1 work like a charm.
Resurrect basically recreates her, but resurrect 1 just revives her (it's the better one)

You can also try and "Revive" her using certain unscrupulous conjuration spells...
Keulron 14 Jul, 2016 @ 9:34pm
I accidentaly let lydia die(didnt want 2 she just..died)
Mix Heart 22 Mar, 2016 @ 3:18pm
They are not given accses to me after the quests are done.
Mix Heart 22 Mar, 2016 @ 3:17pm
He is gaurding one of my evil followers stuff and I need to steal it to gain accses wich is kind of anoying.
Blazer  [author] 22 Mar, 2016 @ 5:09am
@A Yandere Senpai

Hmm.

I'm pretty sure Derkeethus should be fine, it's possible that because of his quest-ish tags I left him, but i'm 99% sure I didn't.

Thus I don't really know how to fix it, sorry =/
Miss Frizzle 16 Mar, 2016 @ 8:29pm
i still cant kill derkeethus with or without this mod :steamfacepalm:
Mix Heart 4 Mar, 2016 @ 12:59pm
I just want to be able to kill an anoying inkeeper when Im evil.
STyGIAN 7 Nov, 2015 @ 8:39am
Why dont you just... Not get any followers? If you hate them so much. With a few console commands I made the Ebony Warrior my follower. At least a clone of him I spawned in. XD
BoyMan 12 Aug, 2015 @ 6:23am
I will :) anyways those Khajiit are to op
Blazer  [author] 11 Aug, 2015 @ 11:30pm
@Thelilhedgehog

Okay, it could be your Khajiit followers that are messing it up, but don't worry, you can still keep them, just gotta fiddle with the load order.

Basically (i'm assuming you know about load orders and whatnot), make sure my mod is BELOW the Khajiit mods in your load order.
Alternatively, try disabling the two khajiit mods temporarily and testing to see if that works.

I've got a few other things to ask and try, but try those two first and let me know how it goes
BoyMan 8 Aug, 2015 @ 5:46am
When I say her I mean Lydia, I havn't tried it on other followers but she was brought down by a mammoth 4 times and then a giant flung her up into the sky with his club and she came out fine. Before she couldn't die and I have still been searching for mods that kills followers. I am going to delete those seeing as how they only make her mor immortal, but I am not giving up on this mod :). The only follower mods I have are 2 mods that add new khajjit followers.
Blazer  [author] 7 Aug, 2015 @ 11:41pm
@Thelilhedgehog

When you say "Her" who do you mean?

Can't think of why it wouldn't be working unless you have other mods that change or alter followers in some way, like custom followers, multiple followers at once, that sort of thing
BoyMan 7 Aug, 2015 @ 12:42pm
They don't die for me :(
BoyMan 6 Aug, 2015 @ 2:00pm
It doesn't work :(, I don't want to kill my followers but I went into a battle with 2 mammoths and a giant and the mammoth got her down 3 times and then the giant flung her up into the sky and she lived :(
BoyMan 3 Aug, 2015 @ 5:12pm
The one thing I hate in skyrim is unkillable followers, I would like for all followers to die, if it is a follower that has to do with story quest example:aela the huntress, once you complete the questline for the companions she can die, if you can do that I would love it :)
Michelle 25 Jun, 2015 @ 3:11pm
I would not kill my followers
Blazer  [author] 11 Jun, 2015 @ 11:49pm
@ Ujiyasu03

I'll certainly put it on a "to do" list, but i'd need to get the time first, so I won't promise much as of yet =)
Ujiyasu03 10 Jun, 2015 @ 9:37am
Request: DLC followers killable.
Ujiyasu03 10 Jun, 2015 @ 9:35am
Note: Stenvar is still among the gods, for neither dragon nor my console command kill can kill him. Anyway, some great improvements though, others like housecarls are no longer among such gods, and I can eliminate them. I utilize a multi follower mod, Extensible Follower Framework, and I say good work, this should have been the way things were made when Skyrim came out.
Blazer  [author] 28 Oct, 2014 @ 12:56am
Hmmm

She should be killable, certainly; is sne kneeling down when her health depletes?

The only things that I can think of that would have made her unkillable are if you've married her, or if there is some kind of quest involving her that is active; it could also be caused by any other mod that modifies Mjoll, or followers in general, like Ultimate Follower Overhaul.
Lthomas224 27 Oct, 2014 @ 6:54pm
I can't kill Mjoll(Which I'd love to do, since she killed like tree people in Riften when I dropped a deathbell in the market). Do I have to lead her to a troll or something?
Blazer  [author] 3 Feb, 2014 @ 8:42pm
Jenassa is in there under "Hirelings" =P
Looking back at how I've written the description, it's a little confusing, it looks like I've said "All the hirelings" and then gone on to list the names of those hirelings, but what I meant was to have hirelings as its own category (Because I figured it'd be easier than naming all of them)
Zippollini 2 Feb, 2014 @ 11:36pm
Do you plan on including Jenassa in the mod?
dmlangston 25 Jan, 2014 @ 11:47am
lol
Stone Hanaku 22 Dec, 2013 @ 6:28am
Frost trolls will kill off your followers so quick...this just makes it certain >:D...yes i feed my followers to frost trolls, i dont like fighting them :P
SenSx 22 Dec, 2013 @ 6:05am
A very nice mod, I hated the idea of immortal comagnons, they were overpowered, and you nver feared to loose them.
Now you'll thin twice before leaving them alone.

The only drawback of this mod it that is set of the compagnons' name in english sinc eit is an english mod (I am not english or amercican).

BUT it is not such a problem since most of the compagnons' name in english or any other languages are the very same.
Only Mjoll the liones changed in my game, that is all, so it is worse it, great mod, THX !!!
KawaiiGonJin 21 Dec, 2013 @ 2:13pm
kk ty
Blazer  [author] 15 Dec, 2013 @ 12:19am
@Bluejay, yeah, a byproduct of them not being semi-immortal anymore is that their helf regen goes for some reason; all you've gotta do is give them health potions (as in, put it in their inventory prior to combat) and they'll use those straight away when their low; or, you can get the spell "Healing Hands" or similar, and heal them yourself with...maaaaaagiiiiiic.

Personally I like it, adds a nice RP element
DBswag 7 Dec, 2013 @ 2:22am
The npcs in the picture look as if they are going to eat Lydia's corpse. Mmm tastes like chicken.
KawaiiGonJin 6 Dec, 2013 @ 9:23pm
is their any way to heal them because after they kneel and regen a bit of hp they just run around with 10 hp and die
Blazer  [author] 18 Nov, 2013 @ 2:28am
Well, the reason that you need them to be at the bottom of the load order is so that they load last, if two mods change...say, the colour of a tree: one changes to blue, the other to purple, then if the purple mod is loaded last, the tree will be purple and vica versa; it overwrites mods that change the same thing as it. If you have two mods which change two completely different things, then it doesn't matter too much, as there is nothing to overwrite, it's just a safety measure.

Basically, It shouldn't matter which mod is at the bottom as long as it doesn't affect followers (in this case), if it does, have my mod underneath it, and if not then don't worry, just have them both as the last 2 mods in your list.
The Void 17 Nov, 2013 @ 1:11pm
I have 2 mods that require the bottem of the load? what do I do?
