On second thought, this mod is updated and removes faction instead of using insect:

I probably should have said this months ago, but not having time is kind of my thing lately. I want to thank everyone one who has enjoyed my mods and apologize for failing to properly provide support for them. These mods where made a while ago when I was between jobs. Since then I’ve gotten a job, but lost all free time. I love the Rimworld community and seeing you guys enjoy the things I’ve created has made me indescribably happy and boosted my confidence as a programmer at a time when I was doubting my own skills. I am honestly sad and embarrassed that I haven’t been able to keep up with everyone’s comments and request. I hope one day to come back to Rimworld and make more fun things to share with you all, but I have no clue when that will be. So, I guess this is goodbye for now. It’s been real fun, and may Randy be kind to you in the days to come.

If anyone want’s to make a 1.1 update for this or any of my other mods please feel free to do so. Leave a comment with a link and I’ll add it to the description (when I have time) so people can find it if they end up on this page. I don’t care about ownership of the mod, I just want people to have the tools to play the way they want to play.

Can confirm: The option to unclaim does not appear in the latest version.

I noticed after using this mod, and unclaiming over 100 sections of walls, that sometimes when it autosaves, it freezes the game. It wasn't doing this before I installed the mod. I'm curious if I have it in the wrong place in the load order, or what.

Otherwise the mod works as intended.

You accidentally include `Source\NotMine.dll` in your mod distribution. I guess it's supposed to contain the source code, not the compiled binary, especially because it's already placed in the `Assemblies` folder.

As it turns out, unclaimed doors can actually be opened by bugs.

Ai cant raid drop at the center of my base(mod), they cant have sappers(mod), and now they cant attack any buildings that I made as a wall to divert them to a kill zone. Nothing like leading them to their deaths(Base got destroyed with 50 ish Tau race(warhmmer mod) that overwhelmed my shields and turrets and out numbered me)

With this mod installed, can you place a pawn (neutral, ally, enemy, your own colonist) in a cryptosleep casket, unclaim it, and then the casket will be left alone?

Will the pawn stay inside the casket once it's unclaimed?

Will the pawn remain in their faction once the casket containing them is unclaimed?

Or will that pawn switch factions, say, to Spacers (the faction of crash survivors and ancient danger people) or Insects?

So many questions...

Required for unclaiming underground power cables. Obviously the enemy should not be able to attack burried and hidden underground cables, right? Also nice to use on smoothed rock surfaces. Weird that it is forced under your ownership.

Anyway, thank you very much for this mod!

@Keegan I've abused it more than enough myself. Just remember that in the long run it's just you that gets shot in the foot.

@kerlyssa Sorry, maybe I should have thrown in a spoiler warning. I actually didn't realize it was a thing until I was unclaiming a fence and accidentally clipped a turret. Next thing I know I'm wondering why the game isn't fastforwarding, then get the yellow box of death. RIP Benjamin.
