Unbuildable :(

I too noticed that the AI use them. Seems the author don't intend to change this, but this is a contributing factor to me being very ambivalent to the unit.

But the idea is good, it does work, so try it and see if you enjoy it.

city states seem to build them and neglect/lose their worker....and thus have many undevoloped tiles for late game.
axatoramus 16 Jul, 2015 @ 3:41pm
Does AI use them too?

I do not have the problem with the modern era.
inahut 4 May, 2015 @ 7:35pm
this does look very interesting, but when questions fall upon deaf ears one pauses. Why have I not seen this mod before today, looking as I do most days at the offerings left at the foot of the altar of Civ5?
inahut 4 May, 2015 @ 7:26pm
so what about Modern era problem? we's wants to know, you know!
Rootimus 16 Jan, 2015 @ 4:55pm

After I reached modern era, Prospectors are no longer able to be built?

This now works for BNW.

Doesn't work with BNW, would be nice if it was updated. It is nice in G&K.

ambug666: Nevermind, I am unable to subscribe to this mod due to not having the G&K DLC
ALifeOfMisery 21 Jul, 2013 @ 3:02am
will this mod be updated for BNW?
Doctor G 8 Jul, 2013 @ 12:22pm
cool... nice work. Adds a new flare to a sour game
ambug666  [author] 7 Jul, 2013 @ 11:34pm
NethanielShade: It should work with other mods. Anyone should be able to build a prospector.
MoonlitShade 7 Jul, 2013 @ 8:32am
Doeas it work with modded Empires, like Empires that aren't in the vanilla game?
Pejoratian 7 Jul, 2013 @ 3:03am
agreed .... starting out is the primary objective or otherwise you'll fnd yourself battling someone in the industrial era before you get to classic. DENOUNCING!
Pejoratian 7 Jul, 2013 @ 3:02am
this makes more sense then the culture bomb and even more so then the great general although there are benefits to both, I wish they have had simply added the feature to great generals without taking away any of the orginal features. Great artists that can't do anything useful in their category. Who wants to waste a great artist for a culture bomb when you can use the general-why would you want to waste addional tile resources when you can have a prospector. I think they should have added a completely different tree for workers like they did with battle units. All it does is waste culture points. Why do you think I skip the pyramids, because they give me 2 free scouts!?

Can you give america shorter time gaps between being able to claim jump, to boost their UA. It would really fit well with them actually.
CosmicReef 2 Jul, 2013 @ 1:15pm
Awesome, thank you! I'm going to try this out right now.
Thrallzuma 1 Jul, 2013 @ 7:38pm
the unit
Thrallzuma 1 Jul, 2013 @ 7:38pm
So you train unit then?
ambug666  [author] 30 Jun, 2013 @ 1:17pm
Q: Will the prospector be consumed when claim jumping? A: Yes. Yes it will. Also you can only have one prospector at a time. Also also, you need to wait a certain amount of turns between claim jumping.

Must connect to territory you already own. Grabbing land owned by someone else could have diplomatic ramifications.
patthefreshman1 29 Jun, 2013 @ 3:26am
does this have to connect to territory I already own? or is this able to create an "outpost" (if you will) that I control?
