Loving these in my Wulfhart campaigns, they are a great fit for his unit roster and the lustria theme in general.

Oh I'm not sure if you would also need this for it to work but you should also make a new entry in 'mercenary_pool_to_groups_junctions_tables' and set the new pool to 'wh2_dlc11_cst_vampire_pirate_merc_pool' and subculture 'wh2_dlc11_sc_cst_vampire_coast'

@stormpaladin150 If you are PKFM or RPFM to open the mod:

-you would need to add a new entry to 'buildings_units_allowed_tables' to set the building you can recruit them from.
-entry in units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables to make the unit available to recruit for the Sartosa faction
-entries in 'unit_set_to_unit_junctions_tables' so they are affected by Sartosa FC Campaign Buffs

Even if you don't have much experience with modding it shouldn't be too hard to copy the entries I made for the Sartosa variant and replace it with the ror, just remember if you see a number key in the entries make sure to make it unique from the other keys.

Update(12/1) Finally got around to updating this mod for anyone that still cares:

-For now I've Changed the names of lumberjack units to woodcutters and board axes respectively for maximum IMMERSION (got bored and felt like making these guys come across as more natural, still keeping silly descriptions)

-Adjusted unit icons for better role indication and edited sartosa variant art to match more w/ base.

-Tweaked unit stats and costs a bit. (+50 cost, +2 CB, -2 MA)

-Added Unique ROR variant exclusive to the empire recruited from T3 lumberyard.
--Better Stats, Fire attack, Immunity to Psychology, new passive called Expert Woodcutters.
--Expert Woodcutters grants bonus vs large/charge defense when unit is in a forest.
--Got Plaid Shirts.

@stormpaladin150 People still care about this? Joking aside I still plan on updating/supporting this mod for future game updates though I don't see myself expanding upon this mod outside the scope of a joke early ap unit that Sartosa used to have before the dlc release.

I do still plan on creating a regiment of renown unit at some point for the Empire (not sure about Sartosa as it's concept would stand out too much), just been preoccupied IRL as of lately.

@thegron unloreful? I've seen plenty of Empire architecture that has wood. So unless they're getting it shipped in, they have lumberjacks, haha

@thegron I mean this mod was created to take the piss out of how lazy/bad the original sartosa free company looked.

Even if I retroactively changed this to just sartosa boarding axe mod they will still look off as big nosrcan axe != boarding axe, boarding axe is a much smaller one handed weapon that wouldn't look so as good or big for being held in two hands, which is the defining trait for ap units.

Also who said lumberjacks are unloreful? There are big forests and beasts in places like Drakwald so you need a big axe to cut them down.

I'm all for adding the boarding axe unit back into the game for sartosa specifically, but giving them to the empire and kislev seems unloreful and calling them lumberjacks is funny but unloreful.

@Acadian They should be affected as I set them to the same unit sets as the regular Sartosa Free Company, which is what campaign effects call upon to apply their effects.

Update(11/8): Mod has been updated for the new dlc and includes a sartosa lumberjack variant for the Sartosa faction. In addtion stats for the units have been slightly tweaked to make them a bit better.

@Piertotum Locomotor it will be for the Sartosa faction when I update the mod later today. Otherwise the unplayable human factions on the map should be able to recruit them if they have access to a lumber resource building.

@e l _ g a t o I plan on giving a ror version flaming axes to make them effective against trees. I don't want to give the regular version fire damage as normal lumberjacks probably aren't amazing at fighting scary living trees.

@Guvenoren Yea the original Sartosa Free Company were pretty bad looking, even if they did tweaked them they still wouldn't feel much like pirates. They were also probably never gonna stay anyways as they were op for being cheap greatswords with their armor piercing + anti infantry.

Yea our lumberjack division was closed in Sylvania due to fear of the local populace fashioning stakes against the regional counts. The Von Carsteins have shown interest in recruiting human levies again but we've not been in contact with them.

@Diazon Well uhh you see we've stopped trying to train new lumberjacks in the art of horse riding after a little accident took out the last instructor... we don't have any plans at the moment to try and hire a new one.

@Destruin I would if I could but there doesn't appear to be a way to add a battle effect that activatea against a specific type of enemy (ie trees). Gonna have to settle with flaming ror version whenever I finish it.
