Nope there is only a flat move speed deduction when a pawn is carring another pawn, but for vanilla it doesn't matter to movement speed how full a pawn's inventory is.

By what multiplier is move speed increased? Another mod on the workshop increases all pawn move speed by 2x globally and I find that to be too much.

@123nick yes that would make sense, however I have no idea how that mod works under the hood so it would involve quite some work because I'd need to read it's source and understand what it's doing...

i just wish that, pawns had the carry weight of their currently mounted (with the giddy up mod) animal taken into account, so someone riding a dromedary can realistically rescue someone without taking much of a speed penalty during it.

Not saying its not unrealistic :D, and they do that for animals (healing up till not bleeding out, then drag to medbay), but with lack of the same mechanic for humans it is unrealistic because death - 100% :P

Yes, but that's not that unrealistic. Two things I do to mitigate: There was a mod (I think from Dubwise) that made medic bags to treat bleeding in the field, the other thing I do is in emergencies I create a sleeping spot next to the bleeding person and set it to medical so that the (worst) bleeding gets treated immediately, and then delete the spot to treat the rest in the medical bed.

Ya biggest issue while using this mod is anything/everything dies thats bleeding out if its even a bit away from the hospital/medical bed ect, great otherwise

I might add a maximum penalty in the future since pawns carrying hundreds of kilograms kind of breaks the game, e.g. with the case of traders.

I updated the code a bit, it should do the carry weight computation better now. You might need to adjust the values in the settings, recommended is 2.5, 2, 2, 2

I did, but it doesn't seem to change. The only effect I can easily notice is changing the carry penalty from 0.1 to 0.

try setting the multiplier to something ridiculous like 20.

Yeah its the same for me. The speed multiplier does not have an effect on pawns. Setting the carry penalty to 0 makes all pawns super fast, however.

doesn't look like the speed multipliers in the mod settings do anytihng. also, my caravans are extremely fast as well

Could we get an option in the menu for a universal Global Work Speed buff? Just asking since I runa ton of mods that add a lot of activities for my colonists. Being able to move faster helps balance it, but some small buffs to work speed would help too. I think it fits in well with the rest of the mod.

The carry weight mechanic seems to heavily affect visitors that are carrying a few hundred kilograms at a snail's pace.

I haven't noticed caravan speed changing in my game, has anyone else noticed this?

Caravan speed, I should say, and I confirmed it's this. I like the changes on the local map, mostly, but when my caravans are outrunning my drop pods it just seems a little silly.

Is this supposed to affect map speed? My travel time to circumnavigate the planet is like a week. I'm not sure it's this, but it seem most likely.

All pawns. You can tweak the balance yourself if you'd like in the mod settings. The default values are quite conservative.
