I do want to ask, though: the "Anomaly" Mod adds a very special pitch-black darkness setting. Is it possible, when THAT (and ONLY that) is in effect, this Mod does not apply. My eyesight isn't geting any better, so I want it otherwise, but it ruins the fun of the Noctolith Event if I can see everything.
Unfortunately I forgot that I did not also have turbo-horror vision, and embarked on a biome of perpetual night, with black ground, and then proceeded to tunnel into the black rock.
Thank you for saving me from eyestrain while looking at my adorable little horrors.

I don't know why some devs get the conception that torturing players = challenging and enjoyable gameplay. I have glaucoma (optic nerve damage reduces your ability to see over time with increased eye pressure) and when a volcanic eruption event hit my colony I literally could not play without getting a massive headache from straining to see the action on the dim screen. This restored my ability to enjoy playing,
