Would love the addition of obsidian also!
Dewa 26 Aug @ 1:30am
@Slavuta the mine itself uses the mining work type, so it should work

Have not tested this with the mechanoids, but I've had an android from VFE mine just fine
Slavuta 25 Aug @ 10:56pm
does this support the mining mechonoids from biotech?
WexMan  [author] 14 Aug @ 11:23pm
@Andreas
This mod has nothing to do with the mechanics of infections and does not affect them.
WexMan  [author] 14 Aug @ 11:21pm
@Pasaway
Maybe I'll add it in the future.
Andreas 14 Aug @ 7:33pm
Is there any way to change the odds of an infestation? I just had three infestations in the same day, it's a little much.
Pasaway 9 Aug @ 5:29pm
I wonder if you might consider adding obsidian to the list when odyssey is installed.
Dewa 7 Aug @ 9:41am
ooh, that sounds like a nice suggestion, thanks to the both of you
Bullzeye101 7 Aug @ 9:28am
@Dewa I personally use the mod "Make anything craftable". You can change how much is mined, how much work it is, etc. You can even make new "recipes" for the mineshaft to be able to mine other things if you wanted.

Look for steel, plasteel, etc. there. Change "10" to "100", for example.
Dewa 5 Aug @ 10:14am
Is there a way to edit how much steel is mined everytime (apart from using pawns with higher mining skills) ?
WexMan  [author] 27 Jul @ 1:42am
@Inflamel
Glad to help!
Inflamel 27 Jul @ 1:10am
@WexMan ah ok, I closely observed a colonist using the mines, and they get skill points only when they retrieve a resource from the mines. Thank you!
WexMan  [author] 26 Jul @ 1:33pm
@Inflamel
On version 1.5 everything should work correctly, the skill should grow. Check what other mods you have that affect pumping and/or skills.
Inflamel 26 Jul @ 11:13am
@WexMan really? I'm currently using version 1.5 and I noticed that when someone is using the Mines their mining skill does not progressively increase the same way when someone is crafting something. Am I missing something or is it really supposed to be like that?
WexMan  [author] 26 Jul @ 6:57am
@Inflamel
I'm not sure I understood you correctly. When pawns work in a mine, their mining skill increases over time.
WexMan  [author] 26 Jul @ 6:54am
@DoctorSilvestri
Hi! It is possible that the lack of ore mining is caused by a conflict with another mod. Try to figure out which mod is causing the crash by loading them not all at once but in parts.
Inflamel 26 Jul @ 3:54am
Hello, is there a possibility for those who use the Mines to increase their mining skill?
DoctorSilvestri 24 Jul @ 10:35am
Hello, could you please help me? When I build a mine and set the order “mine silver forever,” no colonist goes there to mine, even though mining is their only priority. What could I do?
Ivashca 21 Jul @ 12:51pm
Спасибо дружище!!
Azure 21 Jul @ 9:42am
And I think add Vacstone is not a bad idea too.
Azure 21 Jul @ 9:41am
Could you add Obsidian?
WexMan  [author] 21 Jul @ 9:17am
@Azure
For example, what? Vacstone?
Azure 21 Jul @ 9:02am
Could you please add the new ores from odyssey?
WexMan  [author] 21 Jul @ 6:42am
@Ivashca

Ivashca 21 Jul @ 3:00am
Или хотябы скажи как я могу сам в своем моде изменить количество добываемых ресурсов на 200
Ivashca 20 Jul @ 2:21pm
@WexMan Or maybe just one mod, for 100 and for 1000, I would be very grateful to you, even this mod is my favorite of all the mods
WexMan  [author] 18 Jul @ 8:43am
@Ivashca
Unfortunately I don't understand programming to write Assemblies mods for RimWorld.
Only in Assemblies mods can you add what you ask for.
Ivashca 18 Jul @ 4:17am
10 is not enough for me
Ivashca 18 Jul @ 4:16am
Please friend, add a setting to this mod so that you can adjust the amount of resources mined, I want them to mine more))))
Silemm 13 Jul @ 10:36pm
Important part is the save (and your mod) works again
WexMan  [author] 13 Jul @ 1:42pm
@[1st MCRB] Silemm
Sad to hear, thanks for the feedback.
Silemm 13 Jul @ 12:27pm
Yeah I figured it was not only the mines not yielding anything but also the butcher station, the stove, etc. So it was another mod, I just don't know which one, I took a batch of mods out
WexMan  [author] 13 Jul @ 1:43am
@[1st MCRB] Silemm
This may be caused by a conflict with another mod. This mod is very simple and should not normally cause conflicts.
Silemm 12 Jul @ 5:30pm
My pawns are working on the mines yet it gives no yield
SadPlastic 4 Jul @ 12:46am
It would be cool if those buildings could be someone retextured into modern mines or futuristic
WexMan  [author] 2 Jul @ 9:30am
@Zomtime
Here is the hardcore version, maybe it will suit you better for the experience you are looking for
Anny 22 Jun @ 2:27am
Noice, subbed
WexMan  [author] 21 Jun @ 2:03pm
@Anny
Yes, bug is fixed.
Anny 20 Jun @ 1:29pm
Does this bug fix yet?? I dont want my bot to forever screw
paulrdunstan 12 May @ 2:28am
To fix the problem of mechs not recharging and pawns not eating when they are mining, the following line needs to be inserted before line 17 in Defs\WorkGiverDefs\Work.xml:

<prioritizeSustains>true</prioritizeSustains>
SAMUKETTO 12 Mar @ 4:45pm
When a biotech mechanoid mines in your mine, it will never be able to return to the charger to recharge.
Insterluda 26 Jan @ 12:56am
@ShinUon.
Thank you.
Zomtime 18 Jan @ 10:56pm
can make new one with less OP?
ShinUon 17 Jan @ 2:20am
Bug Report: The MiningSpeed stat is affecting mining yield instead of work speed.

This can be fixed by changing line14 of Recipes_Mining.xml from:

<efficiencyStat>MiningSpeed</efficiencyStat>
to:
<workSpeedStat>MiningSpeed</workSpeedStat>
Ra'ahni 26 Oct, 2024 @ 6:27pm
i cant find te research
WexMan  [author] 23 Oct, 2024 @ 9:37am
@Pasaway
At the moment jewelry support has been disabled because i have encountered some difficulties while trying to implement it as i am not a programmer. I hope to be able to solve the problem in the future.
WexMan  [author] 23 Oct, 2024 @ 9:35am
@vreemdevince
Everything is exactly as Pasaway said.
Pasaway 30 Sep, 2024 @ 1:53am
Does "added support mod 'jewelry' " mean that mines can produce gems? I added this mod and mines to an existing game and don't see any gems added. I am wondering if I need to start a new game.
Pasaway 30 Sep, 2024 @ 1:48am
@Vreemdevince: Mining. Quick Tip: The mining operation seems to take the same amount of time per action, but faster mining speed seems to increase the amount of material produced per action.
