Doesnt have to be DLC to be official, the use of it is fine.

Thanks for making this, it really makes speedruns a lot more fun. Although personally I would be in favor of having Torch as well ;) But that should be possible in the upcoming custom mode anyway!

Anybody who has any wits about them - and you better, because mods are too smart for some people! - knows that Workshop content is never actual developer-made content. If it were, it'd be called DLC.

So get off your high horse and just accept that the word 'official' is not a dirty word.

The gods of the dc speedrun community consider it an official workaround until 1.1

If the developer didn't create it you can't call it "official". You can call it "officious" though - because the mod is widely regarded as the standard for speedrunning.
