For the camera issue you need to mod the CC level and replace all the vanilla names with your custom names. It will fix the portrait automatically with a simple XML edit.

It´s not only the annoying portrait problem, the mod also breaks the Corpse Eater ability, it doesn´t work anymore, not even if used by Sebille or any other elf (Even if you choose Type N), also the mod makes every Origin character to have an innate Dome of Protection.

Cool idea of a mod, but it has several issues.

It´s cool and all, but the Portrait problem breaks the immersion. Is there not a way to solve the Portrait problem?

as only poison healing works so far.

You can still take bleeding, death fog, ect damage.

YOu need to more undead features than just the 200% poison.

terrible I look like a normal human and if I shapeshift then return to normal I take on the last shape I was only when using this race

@racelan that is most likely a conflict with class mods. Because two of the homunculus are undead, they must spawn with a hood. It is only possible to set this for classes in the original game or ones we add ourselves.

Unable to use the race at start up, I load in and the Magister attacks me right away and Im stuck on the table.

@Angelous Wang glad to know it's been mostly working for you, haha. The corpse eater bug is honestly pretty wack, and we do know about it but chalked it up to mod incompatibility because it definitely worked before adding type N, I made sure to test that.

As for the shapeshift mask, we will see. I'm pretty new to this whole divinity modding thing, so we'll see if I can't find the script/whatever it is that handles shapeshifting and fix that.

The all available talents seems like a bug/mod incompatibility with another of your mods, as we've done quite a number of "playthroughs" and never experienced that issue.

Yea, the character portrait has always been broken. The original edition had very... unhelpful information about setting them up. They said they simplified it in DE, but I've yet to look into it.

I'll see if I can't find some time in the next few days to work on these issues, thanks for the report!

Another thing to point out is this mod works 100% with majora's character creator mod, evey additional option he has added for humans is availble for all types. However the custom skin/hair colours from the other character creator mod don't work only your colours show up.

Also you should put it somewhere as a warning not to use moded class presets as they will result in starting naked, you should only use default class presets with this mod.

But so far going well.

3. Whilst in charatcer creation I got a werid bug whilst playing around where it gave me all availble talents which I could not undo and it won't let me have any starter skills, when you try to add them it gave a denied sounding effect and didn't add. (This only happened once, I have created two charatcers without issue).

4. The characters portrait is broken, when I first started the game it was just empty, I have since used a re-spec mirror on fort joy (from another mod) this re-did the portrait and I can now see the top of the characters head. I am going to see if re-specing on the lady vengance does any futher imporvement when I get there.

I should point out I am using many other mods (I have over 55 last time I looked though not all are active), so I could just be getting coflicts.

I've been using this mod because I wanted to be a human looking undead, to go along with the vampire mod.

This has been working pretty well so far, just about finished up with fort joy. I'm using type N.

Bugs I have encountered:
1.Corpse Eater on Normal doesn't work for me, my character eats the body part but nothing happens after that, no memoires, no skills, no blood, no health regen. (I gave up on that character and restarted as Type N).

2.Shapeshift mask (as you already mentioned), becoming an elf will resultiung you loosing flesh sacrifice when turn back to normal but gaining dome of protection and play dead, however turing into a human/dwarf/lizard with result in you gaining dome of protection and play dead, and keeping flesh sacrifice and time warp, resulting in you having all 4 skills (which I am fine with ha). So just never become an elf seems to be the advice there.

@Korvinos through all my times browsing the files, staring at the godawful divinity engine, I have never seen or found an option to edit starting equipment for a specific race. It seems to be tied only to the class you pick. Maybe I'm wrong, and I'd be glad if you could link to some kind of actual documentation.
Korvinos 21 Sep, 2018 @ 5:11am
There is the option of just adding a cowl/hat to the starter equipment - would instantly fix the issue.
Clownvin  [author] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 7:09pm
@Kreek, you are probably using a custom class mod, yes? They almost 100% don't have support for homunculus race in their class mod (even though really, a homunculus is just a special human at it's core). You'll have to make your own patch, or get them to make one. Or just not use that class with "undead" homunculi.
Kreek 13 Sep, 2018 @ 10:19pm
every time i use this race i get killed immediately because the game reconizes them as undead but they dont start with any clothing on, and the first thing that happens is a character walks up and talks to them as a scripted event
slayer0527 11 Sep, 2018 @ 11:36pm
Would you please make a mod which gives origin/racial skill in the form of skill books? there is no such mod for definitive edition :(
Clownvin  [author] 11 Sep, 2018 @ 11:13pm
Essentially has everything you need for any playthrough, assuming you want to butcher the masses.
Haybusa 10 Sep, 2018 @ 10:58pm
so essentially has everything you need for a honour playthrough.
