I hopped onto Staxel for some long-awaited testing and couldn't locate any problems on the recolor recipes. I think what's most likely is that you had < 25 blocks on the combining table, since it won't register as a valid recipe until you place a large enough pile there.

Paint rollers stack up to 999, so buy a bunch! You can also use the soap bucket to wash them off and recolor, so you don't need to keep leftovers when switching colors.

I have another question: Is it possible to craft Paint Rollers? It's tedious to buy it every 50 painted blocks :(

Yes, I have. Do I need to have also at least 25 x Creaturebud and 25x Jar of Water.
Also for me there is no block at the right side of Combining Table, no indication that I don't have enough materials.

Do you have at least 25 colored blocks in your stack? If there's less than that amount it will be highlighted as uncraftable (similar to normal recipes with >= X item requirements). You can also try out the Soapy Paint Bucket as an alternative since it has the same cleaning effect

Hello, I have a problem with washing off colored roof tiles (any block). According to instruction I should place 1 x Creaturebud, 1 x Jar of Water and Colored block on Combining Table. Unfortunately it doesn't do anything by my side. No item to creation is available for this setup.
Please help :(

Is this mod incompatible with Linux? I subscribed, but none of the features of this mod appeared in the game at all. I really wanted that increased storage so that holding onto things was actually practical.

Keychains can be used for decorative pet memorabilia, since Staxel always needs more of that, but their main contribution is in the Pet Polymorph Pack from this collection. The visual guide for that includes detailed steps exactly how to use them (no story spoilers)

It takes some game progression to unlock, but once you've obtained a keychain you can turn it into the real thing with just a pinch of magic!

At the risk of sounding like a total noob, do the key chains have a purpose? I got the feeling from the description that it does, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it do anything.

While I adore this mod, I had to remove it because it causes multiple hours load time with the rest of my mods. Is there any chance of getting just the storage furniture on its own? That's my favorite part!

But a question, I can't get the Leafspring Pusher and Launcher to work consistently. It's like sometimes they work, but most of the time they don't, I just run into/onto them and nothing happens. Am I missing something in their mechanics?

AutoMagic should work in multiplayer with no extra adjustments if the host (or server machine if it's dedicated) and all joiners have it installed.

If you haven't checked there yet, Staxel's Discord is really helpful for troubleshooting multiplayer setup until you figure out the specific issue!

Does this not work if you add it to an existing multiplayer world? We added it and it updated sxlmods but we can't find any of the items from it. Combining blocks with petals according to the guide didn't work and I can't find a paint roller.
Any idea how to make it work? I wanna play with this so bad!

If the windows you're hoping to paint are the ones you start with at the abandoned farm, make sure to drop them on a Carving Station first for conversion.

There's a legacy compatibility issue which makes them incompatible with other vanilla windows, so we introduced a patched version of them to resolve that!

Patch 1.4.39 introduced some behind-the-scenes updates for Sponges, but we spotted a bug with the new design when updating the behavior for AutoMagic. It's been reported now.

Sink interactions will probably be unavailable until the developers have a chance to roll out a fix for that in the next patch. Sorry!

Just checking in on the whole pond water aspect of the mod, from my attempts with both the bathroom and the kitchen sink it is no longer possible to convert dry sponges into wet sponges.

Am I missing something or have you reworked the system?
To detail what I've tried:
Sink > Carve > Place > Open > Place Dry Sponge > Nothing happens > Close > Still nothing > Open > Nothing > Remove sponge > Give up

Your mod looks very promising and impressive :) I can't wait to actually try it in game.

There are currently no known mod conflicts with AutoMagic.

It does include a few patches for vanilla content, which you may see change in behavior if you've been tinkering with your own homebrew mods. If that's your interest, feel free to stop by the Staxel Discord for tips on how to set up your patching rules for universal compatibility.

Oh, refilling Watering Cans is apparently a new feature in 1.4! We only just started catching up on a lot of the changes since launching the modpack last winter.

Watering Cans seem to require a specific kind of furniture interaction ("dispenser"), so they probably won't be compatible with any modded behaviors. You can also refill them from any environmental water source, such as the pond behind your farmhouse.

I'd recommend refilling there for now since it's so simple and easy to use.

It is worth many thanks, what I can not find is how to fill the showers, the blue watering can and the green one of the fairies does not work for me to fill them with water, is there any way?

Thank you so much for explaining how this works. If you think about it, Its a pretty immersive way to do it too. Because you could just start storing empty jars under the sink on the shelf, and so You'd have to open the doors to get the jugs out anyways. Sitting them in the sink is brilliant too. Thanks again for this awesome mod!

Objects can only have one kind of interaction at a time in Staxel, so to fill up water with the upgraded Kitchen Sink you should:

1. Open up the doors (this "activates" all the docks)

2. Place the Empty Jars you want to fill under the faucet.

Then the faucet will turn on and begin filling them up automatically! You can wait for it to fill everything in the sink or pause the process at any time by right-clicking anywhere on the furniture.

When you want to switch back to the interaction for opening / closing doors, just remove any items that are currently under the faucet and right-click anywhere on the furniture.

I love this mod the only problem I see so far is my sink can no longer fill my watering can. Is there something i'm not doing correctly or is it just that the converted sink wont work for water anymore? Thanks.

Far out this is a really well put together mod pack. I freaking love the balance of the automated cooking. Boiling out 100 sugar/butter/whatever was not fun, and now it is :D

It's working now!! Thanks so much, @ExplodeySquirrel! Removed all but your mod then removed all files from my computer, then reinstalled Staxel and it still wasn't working. After I thought to use the Mod Manager, and saw that it was not installed, so I had to manuallyt install it after subscribing. I'm loving it now! :steamhappy:

Here are some quick troubleshooting questions for you:
1. Double-check that the furniture you're testing is on the mod guide as "eligible for conversion". When you place it on the Carving Station by itself, does it have a red or green outline? If it's green, you can activate the station to proceed with the craft.

2. Otherwise, switch over to a map in Creative mode and search for the same furniture in the Creative menu. Do you see a second copy of the furniture with a "Key" symbol in the name? If you don't see one, then it means the item wasn't eligible to convert.

If you can't find ANY "Key" versions of furniture in the Creative menu, then it probably means the mod didn't install correctly from the Workshop or there are outdated files in your game client.

I cannot for the life of me get the Fantastic Furniture Pack to work. I put the eligible items in the Carving Station and nothing. Are we supposed to put more than just the main item, like the fridge or wardrobe on the station?

Pets should only ever disappear if their Pethouse is picked up or deleted (since they're stored with it). That can potentially happen by accident if you load a map, which has modded items, but the mods are not currently installed on your game client.

If what happened for you doesn't match that, I'd recommend heading over to the Staxel Community Discord to look for further troubleshooting advice. In that case, it could be a more complicated issue related to your save files or game client rather than the mod itself. Good luck!

Yes, if you place 1 Glue along with any piece of interactive furniture on the Carving Station it can be converted back into a vanilla design. This recipe is also handy when making a few of the Villager houses that specify an exact version of the furniture to use in the build requirements.
