heyo :D yes, the format box can't be changed at all anymore unfortunately, it always resets to default. It would be amazing to have it working again, i miss my custom seeds so much! thank you for your effort <3

The custom Seed Format text box in Mod Options has some weird issues holding on to changes in current version for me. I can only get it to stop reverting immediately by pressing enter twice before the very first symbol in the box but trying to clear the empty line brings it back to default.

hi, just to mention that (while i use this mod), if you also plan on playing with the Real Ruins mod (which shares player maps with any players using the same seed, then you might want to disable this one for that particular playthrough - its nothing bad with this mod, just that you most likely wont be able to experience planetary ruins form that mod, since names could be very unique.

How do you add a new line? [Enter], [Shift][Enter],[Ctrl][Enter] all close mod settings window. ([Alt][Enter] is reserved for FullScreen toggle.) Tried editing the XML as well, but gets reset to default.

I like this, thanks. What I've been doing up to this point is using the date & time as a seed, in this format - YYMMDDHHMM. Works well. :)

I can atest to what Jaxe said about the same seeds coming up. I can't tell you how many times I've seen "entrails" and "interstellar" come up....

Why roll dice when you could just think of a number? This mod is very simple and doesn't claim to be anything special. It's just a way of generating a long random number for a seed. You can always view your seed in the world map if you forget it. It was just meant to be a change from the vanilla method of giving a single word which tends to have the same ones come up quite often.

You can do that already in the game, and i found out a while back the text field is pretty long, you can put a lot of numbers there already. so what good does this mod do? that you can't easily do yourself without the mod?

@Freeasabird, you can type any word or phrase you would like, no one is forcing you to use this mod and this mod would actually be worse if implemented the way you describe. Less unique seeds, more complexity for the mod author

A mod that can generate over 2.1 billion unique seeds is probably not the best one to create a seed you can memorize

Why Numbers? why not just add to the pool of words the game has? or come up with words yourself? or add to the words the game gives you, like as example, if the game gives you Axe as a word add handle next to it or -to the face, Apple? Tree or pie, City? - of DOOM or -of lights.

Like, a shit ton of numbers is hard to remember in case you want to reuse said map. what am i supposed to write down the 18 diget code in order to use it again? or can i just remember a perticular word or words and use that? why make it needlessly more complicated?. and besides you can use numbers in the game already. :/

and on that note, why do we need 10 diget numbers anyways? if you want to use numbers, just slap your mumber keys a little and you'll get Millions of differant planets from that. why do i need this mod again? i don't get it. :l

No changes to the types of worlds, just if you click Randomize seed without this mod you're likely to get the same seeds over and over again. With this mod it's very unlikely you'd ever get the same seed twice,
