I think it does affect the speed skin suit. For your other questions, I couldn't answer; this is just a patch, it wouldn't affect any computational issues that come from the speed skin suit. I imagine those are related to higher speed making pathfinding more complex; this doesn't affect the speed skin suit's speed buff, so it wouldn't affect the pathfinding.

I have used speed skin suits for all colonists before and not has issues. But because they do increase speed they'll affect pathfinding calculations, but that will depend more on the layout of the map.

Does this include the speed skin suit? I've also heard a lot of bad things about the speed skinsuit and that it wrecks the game? Makes it run super slow. Can I get some clarification on this? Thanks!

I don't remember if Glitter Tech Classic works, it is showing up in the dependencies though. I would think it would work, but try it and see; there's no harm if it doesn't work.

Hi, it says the dependencies are GlitterTech and GlitterTech (No Surgery). However, the original creator of GlitterTech has returned and created GlitterTech Classic. Can this patch work with GlitterTech classic? Also, is it possible to make it so you can wear a duster or jacket of the nano suit? Lastly, thank you for your work!

Cautiously marking this as 1.5 compatible. Glitter tech is not yet compatible with 1.5, but it looks like the patch still applied successfully.

Updated to 1.4, also buffed air conditioning + made the armor more heat resistant (like an actual exo suit, so you can handle volcanos or something)

Also I lowered equip delay and updated the dependencies. Thanks for the head's up about the update!

No worries, it's good to bring these issues up otherwise I'd have no idea. I just pushed an update, it should come out in ~15 minutes maybe if it's not already. It's in Steam's hands at this point.

Now I'm still not sure how RimPy manages dependencies or how it knows that my mod needs glittertech. Maybe it's from the workshop--if that's the case then I'll add that unofficial version as a dependency here. You should only need one, same as otherwise

Also, RimPy is a mod-manager. It makes it easier to juggle large amounts of mods.

Thats the unofficial version - And my knowledge of modding is about zero so I cant help much with anything else.

Btw, wasnt complaining - I love these mods and the nano-suits are underpowered for the tech they are. So your buff is amazing.

I'm not sure what RimPy is; but if the unofficial version uses the same XML as the official one, then the patch should work the same. It will say that it's missing a dependency in that case, but it should work regardless if it loads.

Would you mind giving me a link to this unofficial glittertech? I think I can possibly add it as a dependency.

Or if you're just wanting to get it working for yourself, go into
steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1500339730\about.xml and remove the loadAfter items using your favorite text editor.

Now if this unofficial glittertech changes XML paths then depending on the scope this mod could be modified, or it might make sense to make another mod.

Anyway--it sounds like you just got an annoying error in the mod loader, if that is the case then I'd try for now just loading this mod after unofficial glittertech. The XML patches I wrote don't care about what mod is named what, it's just looking for an item with an ID of NanoSuitHelmet (or whatever it is, just using that as an example).

Question for you. The Dependencies for this mod are not set for 1.3, and its causing an issue with RimPy. The unofficial Glittertech mod IS set for 1.3, but this mod doesnt recognize the unofficial version. How do I get this to work then?

With testing, it /works/ it is however a gigantic debuff with CE, (0.9mm RHA on the nano suit vs 16mm on the orion combat vest)

Mini update to fix formatting and make it work with the new autosort feature. The mod know knows that it needs to load after glittertech, but doesn't explicitly list it as a dependency since it also works with the no surgery version.

Not "needed"; it's an optional addon that buffs the suit. I don't think they'd put it in GT Vanilla.
