The no mods glitch can solve it's self over time, happened to me once, Just wait and it should be fine. If that doesn't work try installing a few mods. If It STILL persists, I'm sorry. (Note I'm not sure this is an 100% strat!)

the gun spawns in, but the button you hold to fire said gun does nothing.
