I reproduced the issue in survival with my remaining ammo and some poor light armor blocks as target.
1st shot hits the wall, 2nd shot usually disappears, 3rd shot hits my own vehicle (I get a hitmarket, and no hit on the target wall. This is where block get damaged and eventually blow up underneath the turret.)
I switched my save to creative so that I can add myself more ammo, but the issue no longer existed. Every shot landed on target. Still exists in survival however.
Hope that narrows it down to some extent, and thank you for your work.
I will see what I can do though.

Whenever i build one, or repaint one, it makes the projectiles to fire off center.... kinda like the missile launcher.
however if i save and reload its corrected. Ive had more then a few blow themselves up because i didnt reload right away.
the only other weapon mod is a 4k distance for vanilla turrets so might be a compatibility issue. idk

i'll give it a test in a bit on the same vehicle it gave me crap on before.

I have found a fix for them firing 5ft from the barrel, expect and upload shortly. :)
