I would be fine if all of the superglass blocks dropped nothing since paste is so easy to get. An inventory slots are scarce :D
But that's just my opinion.

I think I will add screenshot of the Reinforced Glass on resolution 2:1 so people can see it. (I have added it and difference between 16:12 screens and 16:9 is funky)


Also if other people are interested in dropping paste instead of the actual block then I can change this. I rarely use this mod.
I have made it only because I have found a way to create invisible block ;D
Wanted to keep it somewhere as info so I don't forget.


I have made 1 more test.
Made my block passable (like plants) and MMs still doesn't want to shoot throught it :V
But making invisible block passable wasn't too bright idea ;D Hard to find it...

I declare that block <hasEntity>true</hasEntity> ;D
This way it's immune to tunnel nukers.
Even the initial shell of hivemind (the one 1-3 or 4 layers around the core block) can't destroy the block with entity. Reinforced blocks can stop only the non-initial shell, initial one would simply break reinforced blocks.

If you declare that something is machine then this happens:
"4. it can't be replaced by superbuild" -> that's the effect of <category>machine</category>

LPT just looks for <isGlass>true</isGlass> and doesn't check the rest I guess

How does that immunity work? You just declare the glass as a machine? If so, my vague guess is that MMs don't like to shoot through machines... but why would LPTs do, then? Weird.

1. Test:
<IsAir>true</IsAir> does nothing, no error in log and MMs can't shoot throught, maybe case sensitive so next test soon.

I will try to turn "Window" into tunnel nuker immune and 1 of my glasses into not immune.

There is no block that uses "isAir" in the game ;D I will have to see if game will tell me error when I try to use it in mod

I never checked how much paste decorative blocks drop. With 100k+ paste in the inventory it's hard to check such small numbers :D

I can only set it up so it drops 1 (ONE) paste when destroyed, I can't make it "half" or "full" :D
And If I recall correctly then all decorations in game drop only 1 paste o-O

Oh, and about "I don't like to recraft stuff I have already made"... Those blocks are made from construction paste which you have a stack of in your inv 24/7 usually. Sure, usually destroyed decorative blocks drop less (half?) paste than you need for crafting, but since it's a mod this could probably be changed to drop the full amount? My concern was about the clutter in my inventory because according to Steve I'm playing the game the wrong way (my inv is almoost always full^^). Again, if you like it that way, leave it that way. It's your mod. :D

Those machines actually drop because dj made .dll code for each one. (I wouldn't be surprised if steve did some of them lol)
I don't use .dll so I can't add code there for my modded machine block ;D

Also the large rocks and glowtubes don't drop their own blocks, they drop different blocks.
Funny enough... if you bore them with BFL then you will get large rocks/glow tubes blocks, which can't be used

About that "isGlass", DJ mentioned that he doesn't recall if MMs use "isGlass" or "isAir". Maybe that bit of info helps. About the superglass blocks dropping themselves.... well, if that was your conscious decision then so be it, you're the author. I don't like it, but I won't tell you what to do :D

About multiblock machines not dropping anything... I never noticed that earlier. Sounds like a crappy design decisions because some blocks are kinda expensive to craft (jet turbines, OET, and who knows what comes further, I haven't started FF content yet. And currently I'm in a world which isn't even far enough for turbines or MK4 batteries. I'm pretty sure that I did drops when removing them in my last worlds, but I may have been hallucinating that lol. If that really is the case, and when I'm far enough again to see it with my own eyes (while being sober^^) I'm gonna open a bug report for that and get on DJs and Steve's nerves with it. ;D

Those blocks are supposed to drop themself instead of paste because I decided so -> I don't like to recraft stuff I have made already. Also the "defense" in manufacturing plant doesn't matter in this case :D
There is separated option in .xml where you choose 1. it's just block 2. it's ore 3. it drops paste on destroy 4. it can't replaced while superbuild | there are also 2 more variables but they seem to do nothing (maybe they are used in sorting? Option is called "Category")

The machine block doesn't drop anything because the game is set this way ;-;
Everything that has "shift+click" by default doesn't drop item on destroy, you have to make additional .dll code for block to drop. (Once I have asked steve why blocks don't drop :V)

I know that LPT use "IsGlass" option in the .xml, totally no idea what MMs use, maybe .dll?
Later I will try to compare vanilla glass with my modded one, it might be that MM=tunnel nukers and immunity for tunnel nukers means immunity to MM, but that's just theory without testing.

The game doesn't support 16:9 if your desktop is in 16:12 resolution... Rediculous...
So screens are 16:12, later I found a way (with start-up commands) to force 16:9 but somehow I don't feel like updating screens :D
The force 16:9 option is recent so back when I have been testing it was still 16:12.
Also I have mentioned that it disappears only in 8:1

Recently I have found a way to add new textures to game (it has half assed support tho), only 1 mod which does this will work, if you have more than one then one of them will fail.
And there is almost no info about it too... It is something that you do with "trial and errors" method

Another thing: When you destroy them, super glass and reinforced glass drop as themselves instead of constuction paste, which creates useless clutter in the inventory which you need to macerate (is it because they are defenses and not decoration?). While Machine Block Space Windows don't give anything back when you destroy them (which is fine, getting paste is easy enough...)

I'm having the same problem like Rotn (with the reinforced glass), that text is visible in all texture resolutions except 8:1. But I'm playing on a non-standard aspect ratio (1280x1024) and I assume you are playing on 16:9 like the majority out there. No wait, Rotn's screenshots are 16:9?

But I came here to report another thing: I just found out that the glass blocks from your mod don't work with Matter Movers. I asked Dj about it because first I thought it doesn't work with glass at all (but it works with vanilla glass). His comment was "Just means the mod hasn't setup the block in the correct fashion" :P

It's not a problem, if I want to use matter movers I can just use vanilla glass. But I thought this might interest you. Any idea why LPTs work and MMs don't?

Maybe dev will add other glass textures in the future.

My game doesn't allow 1:1 resolution, didn't know that there is one. 2:1 is highest

I have just checked now with the texture resolution and for me it is there on all but 8:1 but then the texture is bad in my opinion on everything:/

but when i look after when it is on 8:1 it seams like it is there but unreadable but only noticeable if targeting the block

in the end i think superglass is the way togo to not get annoyed by this text using current version of the game

i'll upload a few Screenshots so you see

Allright the mod i am using is borderless fullscreen and i run it on good Graphic settings but i will check it out if that solves it for me

No sorry I meant autocraft like when you place a block, even though you don't have the block crafted in your inventory, it will still place the block because it autocrafts as long as you have the resources in your inventory. Hope that is a little bit more clear sorry e.g. torches, or alloyed glass block

I can make generic auto crafter but it won't make build 2 me easier o-O

Anyway what would be price of this machine and how fast it would craft the window? How much power per window? (free? instant? no power?)

I have renamed the "Copy Paste" into "Reinforced Glass" and buffed it. (this block was already in the game, but simply it was unused)
Probably it is something tied to the textures of copy paste ;D

I don't have Frozen Factory DLC.
Could anyone test if they stops cryoplasm from reaching shafts when it reaches it's peak?
(I think it is the strongest once your magmabore finishes drilling)
