I would suggest halving damage, and doubling fire rate and ammunition
The reasoning of it being "tiring" I don't agree with, I do a archery and im way less trained than a longbow archer bakc then but the hardest part about shooting ive found no matter how fast or often i draw a bow is accuracy, never actually pulling it, swinging a sword is much harder haha

Also gave a tiny bit more ammo to ranged units (2 for archers, 1 for javs)
grekko, thanks and I'm glad someone agrees. I'll do as you suggest and make a couple of variants. I don't have a lot of time to play the game so I can only do limited testing so it would be a huge help to get some outside feedback
I do believe that CA should bring this new mechanic in the game (manual shooting rate) in order to make archers & co a much strategic tool and let the player decide which one use. removing a few accuracy points for this should be a good deal.
Can you please make more mods with all combinations ? this way we can see what like.
