Does your mod have towns/villages?

haven't been touched since 2019, yet still holding together and isn't broken beyond usage.
the creator of the mod probably abandoned it by the time but at least they did a great job making a functional mod. i think the lack of update should be taken differently, instead oc complaining or waiting for the creator to come back there should be add-on for the race.

like special structure, more stuff, compatibility with other mod (like a refresh of FU racial bonus and one for GiC) ect. after all given how long it been i don't think the creator would really complain .

Hey hey! So I've been having an itch to play as a gun themed character for a min now and the Lastree seems like a perfect fit!

With that saiiiiid, I'm thinking about making a new version of the FU racial patch! Something that has a bit more spunk-- With unique buffs and stuff! (I made 1 other racial abilities patch before if you wanna see what I mean! I'm not very good at coding, but I do love making something unique!)

If you have any input on how you'd like the mod to be made, then I'm all ears!

Are there Lastree settlements?

I would like to get permission to use the armour assets in my mod.

To be more precise I need to edit them so they fit the body of my race.. I do not use the same file locations and only change the ID name because it needs to be a new armour, My method allows players to take the armour they earned and use a crafting table to modify them to fit my races body.

I was hoping I could be more specific in dms, but in the absence of that. I'm hoping to ask how you feel about adding support to your races for other mods. And if there's any limit for something you wouldn't want your races to have support for something.

so it should be, that Lastree has color of teleport beam in space different from color of teleport when landing, or it's a bug?

There's no FU description about what racial traits the Lastree have. Can you try adding that in please? Thank you.

My new favorite race. Also if you need some help fixing the ingame texts to be more english. The scan for the Lastree monitor can instead read: "Old, and not as up to date as the protectorates. But it still does its job."

I found this out shortly after posting here, I didn't realize the mod changed that about Hardcore. I ended up unpacking the Lastree Mod and duplicating the file and repacking it.

i cannot play with my lastree character from the start, the game always shows this error to me whenever i want to play with the lastree character, other races still fine only lastree, can someone please look at pastebin and tell me what happened to the mod https://pastebin.com/dfWafAhy

@Dead--Martyr They don't have a hardcore respawn animation because vanilla Starbound hardcore is permadeath, FU adds respawning in hardcore and for that you can just use this https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1506495105

Just so you are aware, if you die as a Hardcore Lastree, there is no Respawn animation, so the game crashes and the character becomes unplayable.

It seems like all it needs to be fixed is just copying the other respawn animation and renaming it to what the game searches for.

Is this and the Indix still being worked on or have you moved on from these mods?

You have my permission. You can use it as you want.

Heyo. I'm the creator of Choose Your Own Ship, and I'd like to include both the Lastree and Indix ships as buyable options. This would require me to include the files for your ships (and their objects) in my mod, but I would of course credit you for the contents.

Both races already have CYOS support, regardless of your answer; this means that there are patches in place to allow them to buy ships in my system, but their files are not included because they don't have to be.

Also, you mention that English is not your first language. As it happens, I'm a professional writer and editor, and I offer my services free of charge to mods from time to time to keep my skills sharp. If you're interested, I can give your text in both mods a once-over and rewrite things that may need it.

Alright.. Well, I'll add dialogue/object scan dialogues patches for my race, and if they later contact me to remove them, I will.

I'm not taking anything, I'm just making one of my races interactable with this one, with patches being done only on my side. But who knows, people can say no and not want to be associated with another race mod.
