Is this Modification Dead? Because It's been two years without an update as the TripWire Devs who update KF2 often and made this modification obsolete. :Sadclot:

Love this mod but it seems to be broken - cannot make it past wave 2 without crashes on dedicated server or client. Anyone have any tricks to make it work?

if i wanted to do this on prison how would the whol thing look being typed in the consol? :P im not understanding or good at knowing how to punch this stuff into consoul seeing i dont tamper with stuff like that and i realy wanna try this diffuculty tweek out.

Fixed bug when ZEDs spawned before time HUD of warning appear
Changed skin particles of some ZEDs
Increased the number of ZEDs per player (for game without CD)
Increased the number of boss helper squad (minions) from 10 to 28

Can you make it so that the zeds aren't on fire, but only have the orange/red ora instead? It looks a little cheesy IMO

Server Actors does not work reliably. I advise you to run any mutators through the string in KFServer.bat
[Ex.] Mutator=Mut1.Mut1,Mut2.Mut2, etc

Good mod.. Played it on my server last night added some needed challage into the game.

Quick question though hunter.. Is there anyway to add this to a dedicated server though server actors.. I tried using HellFire.HellFireMut but it didnt work.. Runs perfect through the command line though.

Removing the few seconds of delay after the wave starts (where spawns are normally blocked termporarily) can result in players having to deal with the HUD getting in the way while Zeds are already moving in on them. The spawn rate changes are pretty noticable, but removing the delay wasn't really necessary and causes more problems than anything.

In addition, the Flaming Stalkers kinda defeat the entire point of the Zed, since it makes them extremely visible.

Feedback:
The excessive flame created by commando's ability on stalkers are actually blinding players instead of calling out stalkers.

These very well done mods are one of those mods which TripWire will have to either add to their game KF2 or Mention or Announce it in their Twitch or other media pages for helping gain players for this awesome mod. That's the number one reason why any mods have been abandoned; the lack of players, Number two reason is bugs/glitches in the mods and number three reason are Hackers ruin the fun of the gameplay. :MrFoster: anyone need :Dosh:?

Just got around to finally playing this mod, gotta say this shit is fuckign insane lol. Great mod. I like how you can adjust the difficulty to suite your liking instead of making it a flatout new difficulty.

Infernal Nightmare presents a different difficulty than HoE. This mod does not change the difficulty, it changes zeds. And this is not the basis of infernal nightmare. Therefore, this is relevant only for 6 players. Have you read the description?
If you want to enhance difficulty, combine it with Controlled Difficulty. I will not discuss this any more.

Do not expect that it will seem difficult to you in solo game. In itself, the game of solo is low shit. I also like the very high difficulty, and therefore I only play with 6 players. Try it on the server and get what you want.

I tried out a round of this and i beat it in 2 tries its a good mod but comparing to the thing its obviously based off of infernal nightmare it wasnt really half as challenging as that like the fact that most things dont have any changes besides fire on them and stalkers being able to be detected by there fire and the fact fleshpounds walk not run really hinders the challenge of this greatly its not a bad mod but it could use some tweaking to be more challenging

Hey man, thanks for making this mutator. ^_^ You da man. One thing though, i think the fire resistance isn't a good idea, because it handicaps one perk. Why not balance it and make it have overall resistance?? It lacks balance is my point. :Fistofdosh: :steamhappy:
