Curiosity broke the repeatable tech. No breakthroughs are awarded after researching it. The telescope does still award 5 breakthroughs and 25% research boost.

Ah, thank you and sorry for suspecting your mod.
It was the first match with your mod installed and the bug occured in conjunction with the activation of the 25% fusion power increase from the moon base-completion, so I jumped to conclusions too fast.

@Tek I just asked my buddy (who is also a modder) and he said the bug in question has been reported on reddit as a base game bug. I appreciate the bug report though. She's a strange bug indeed.

@Tek I don't even see how the other 2 mods you're using would have any said effect to trigger such a bug also. Unless the mission commander changes something to do with the rockets, even then, it's highly unlikely to cause such a bug. If you have a save before this happened, I would load it and see if you can replicate the issue.

@Tek, I change nothing in the code for rockets. This does seem like a really strange bug though. I have no idea what would cause that bug. It seems the most logical explanation is it was just a bug with the base game. I have never heard of this bug though. Only thing my mod does is change a few variables for Omega telescope, Breakthrough tech constant and add a new technology.

I may have run into a bug with your mod. I can't completely rule out that it is one of the other two mods I'm running, so forgive me for suspecting your's first.

So, the bug: I got the beyond earth mystery in my current match. First just one rocket landed to get resources, just as usual. Then, when I had to pick the next rocket, I had to choose four of them before I could continue playing.
One of these rockets then prompted another window to choose the next rocket...and upon finishing that one, it got crazy.
The three or four rockets per project...I had to pick them all and after that new rockets got added to my pinned-tab indefinitely, causing my game to slow down and lastly freeze.

Since the other two mods are a new mission commander and a repair-time modifier for pipe-leaks and broken cables, I thought I might ask you first, since the changes from your mod seem to be the most extensive.

when i use the mod, i only get the regualar amount of breaktroughs on the map to scan, but the tech you added works nicely. the cost i feel is fairly appropriate for late game, maybe a tad much.

@Sixgun also, the patch I just rolled out should add a tech to unlock the other breakthroughs for those who dont have the breakthroughs spawn on the map.

You should make sure that your mods actually work before wasting people time, I just got to sol 129 only to find out that I was only going to get 13 breakthroughs and that the mod did not work. I don't think I have the patience to try it again.

i'm playing a game now without this mod and i'm having already around 30 breakthroughs, i'm not 100% sure but i think its the 'chuck norris' mod (greatly overpowered :-) !!!) that is causing this, maybe the creator of that mod can help if you still have some issues

@Everyone Okay mod has been updated and I have added a technology in physics to allow you guys to unlock the extra breakthroughs. Still trying to figure out some more ways to slowly add breakthroughs over the course of your game. I made the tech increase in cost by a decent amount each time you research it as its a late game tech and breakthroughs can be very powerful.

@Random F(I)ails It could be a conflict or it could just be a bug also. It's hard to tell without having a full mod list of the other mods you're using.

hmm, i started a new game with this activated. but i only got the 5 more from Omega Telescope, no more breaktroughs.
i played with Paradox as sponsor, it normaly grants 3 more breaktroughs so maybe a conflict there?

@mudkip I'm working on that as a part of a future update. For now you will need to wait for meteorites to spawn them. My plan for the future is to increase the rate at which Meteors will drop these breakthroughs.

How exactly do you unlock the rest of the breakthroughs?
Even the improved telescope can't account for the increase.
Are there more anomalies you can scan?
