Oi m8 cheers- luv to be hearin u havin a good time. Bad news though ey- this aint a bug wif the mod mate- that's a regular ISDF BAMBER behaviour in the vanilla game. Bit out of scope innit! Mightn't be wasted time to report that to our dear selfless local dev General Black Dragon in the community patch announcement thread on the forums though ey- hes pretty good at fixin' those old timey bugs mate! This all assumin you're already playing on the community patch ccourse.

hey bruv I love this mod but I would love it more if my extractor with a jammer sitting DIRECTLY next to it wouldnt get bombed by the ISDF BAMBER as if theres NOTHING there pls fix I like playing scion thanks

Great mod pack. My preferred pack to play for IA, I LOVE Mirestorm, feels like a true jungle map. Makes me want to port it to bz98 :D

@Asia, try playing it with the Biometal Mod Pack mod: steam://openurl/https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1368109534 (the same maps and options are available), or when you load the map make sure you have a recycler variant selected in the options before starting. The default for these maps uses a modded recycler variant, but you can still select the vanilla variants.

It seems when trying to play strategy with a friend, an error stating something like "Ivrecy biometal odf missing, cannot launch" Pops up whenever choosing a map. Also affects vanilla maps.

Hey good catch! Can you try downloading and activating the Biometal MOD pack with the same map and faction selection, and let me know if you get the same error?

Great maps! But some of them give an error: |AIP file biometal_fi1.aip not found". Had this on the Island map and one other, seems the enemy recycler does not deploy in this situation. Where can I get this file?

1) Was that comment meant for the other mod? You can't use remote satellite uplink in this mod, this is just the map pack.
2) That's not a bug with this mod, that's a bug with BZCC where in any given key can occasionally be locked into a "continuous press" mode if you enter the escape menu while pressing it. As the mod only enables you to enter satellite up-link anywhere, I'm not even sure how that would be a bug with the mod, and it should be possible with vanilla as well.

It would be fantastic if there wasn't that ass coded bug on MPI where you are stuck forever when leaving the satellite mode out of the blue and where you can't absolutely do shit but EVENTUALLY spam the "Satellite Uplink" key and spam to walk forward until you EVENTUALLY managed after several minutes to reach for an empty ship to break the bug.
And this, all the while you are spectating are your defenses being shredded because the vanilla dumb AI doesn't return fire if not told too.
This mod could have been a 10/10 but just for that bug I'll give it 1/10.

Nevermind my last request. The beta patch for bzcc fixed the stutter problem. No more work around needed in mods to reduce the issue because the issue is gone :) Just played through a round on Site III and it was stutter free and that map used to get pretty stuttery.

Hm. I've never heard of that kind of problem and haven't seen it myself. Are you sure this map pack is related? There's nothing in or about the maps that should be at all related to whether units are visible or not...

I'm having an issue that i'm hoping you can help with. When playing Instant Action, I have an issue where there are invisible enemies. Often I will send scouts or tanks to the enemy base to attack and I will be attacked but I can't see the enemy and neither can my units. They just sit there and take hits from them. I noticed that once I disable the mod everything works fine. Do you know what could be causing this? Thanks!

Hey Bio, great question! I put them on there with a "soon" in the valve sense of the word. The terrain is basically done but the maps need textures and assets placement and configs and such still. I'm not gonna commit to a timeframe unfortunately, its basically whenever I feel like getting back into the swing of things in BZCC.

Of course it's really awesome and flattering that you're interested, but I hope honesty in that answer is acceptable.

Fantastic job with these maps! My favorites are Hephaestus and Antillia, as they do a great job recreating the planets from BZ98. Antillia in particular is fantastically immersive and spooky, and playing it felt like any moment I might stumble across some spooky relic of the Cthonians or an irritable Fury.

Hey ScrapPool, just letting you know, I've made my own AIP and it features your Warden and Scarab as fighting units for the AI. I also have the AI building your Enclave. I'm still tweaking weapon load outs. Just figured I'd let you know, just in case you wanted to see your units in action for the AI.

Your keyboard controls stop working? The eff?

Any of my IA maps? What about MPI, ST, STCTF or DM?

Is it just my maps or any IA map (there is no reason behavior should be any different for stock maps vs these maps). In fact, there is no reason there should be any controls related effects related to any of the content in these files. Is there anything in your addon?

Anybody else getting this?

Ever since the addition of Jungle, whenever i start IA on any of your maps, all my keyboard controls stop working. The maps are great so hopefully this problem gets resolved.

If the greenheart variants are working in bzcc (I believe the assets aren't complete?) I can think about requiring those! Have you tried them out?

Also, the mods aren't currently structured to support VSR play with these maps but if you reach out the Steam author of VSR and theyre interested in including these maps, I THINK there's a way we could make it work...

I just always play with either the VSR mod or the 3.1 GreenHeart variants and would like to play all of these other maps with those variants. I used to have multiple mods combined in my old original BZII folder before BZCC was released.

No, but if you join a multiplayer game with a different mod, I believe the game automatically downloads/loads that mod for you.

There is also a way to require "asset" mods in a "config" mod, so that those assets get simultaneously loaded with the config mod.

The Biometal Map Pack is a config mod as is required by the standards set out for modders.

Is there an asset you would like included in the map pack? Maybe we could make it happen...

In Pyrogen I was playing MPI and using Wug - Difficult, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the reports! Yeah the Dry Heat thing will just have been a boo boo while I was trying to reduce the overall mod file size, should be an easy fix.

The Pyrogen pathfinding errors are a little more difficult to figure out without more info/a screenie. You were playing instant action there as well right? Which Wug difficulty were you using? Ill review the map paths and have a playthough though!

Great mod, thanks! We needed more maps for both MPI and IA! :)

However 2 maps are not working properly for me:

DRY HEAT (Instant Action): I think this is a file issue, because the objects (rocks, plants, etc..) are correct, but the terrain is from another map, Mars. It results in objects positioned in the air and the minimap showing Mars instead of Dry Heat. Like if the .TER file was accidentally replaced by the one of "Mars".

PYROGEN (MPI): I don't know exactly what happened here, but after 10 - 15 minutes I got many path finding error messages in the objective window. Maybe it was just random and it won't happen again (I haven't tried yet), but I thought I had to tell you. :)

Coops? All these original maps plus "Island" come with an MPI version. They're all coop! :)
